Bree's POV

As I slammed the door I heard Eleanor calling out to me to come back.

So not gonna happen.

As I turned to face my reflection in the mirror.. I took a step back once I saw what was there.

Tears. Actual tears falling down my face.

FLASHBACK

"And this is my little sister Bree." I looked around Liam, taking in his new band mates. One stood all dark and mysteriously. But soon a grin appeared on his face. This was Zayn. Next to him, a blonde with crooked teeth and a thick Irish accent greeted me a friendly hello. Niall. A boy with young face showing a smile that no one could ever beat, looked down at me. "Are you sure you aren't twins?" his voice spoke out. Louis. Liam warned me that he is quite outspoken. Lastly, the boy that took my breath away.

Throughout the entire show, well, at least before they all got put in a band, Harry Styles was the one I wanted to win besides my brother. Curly chocolate brown hair, sparkling eyes, and dimples deep enough to dive in. He greeted me with a charming hello. I felt a slight poking at my side. "Bri. Brianna. Brianna Nicole Payne!" the voice yelled. I jumped slightly, now fully aware that the voice came from my brother.

END FLASH BACK

I sighed, realizing that I had it in for Harry the moment we met. The entire week I was there visiting Liam, me and Harry had been flirting heavily. He just so happens to be my age, and only a couple weeks older than me. It honestly could work. But, towards the end of my visit, I overheard Liam and Harry talking.

"Harry, I know there obvious feelings coming from your end, but there is no way you can ask her out."

"Liam, I hate to be rude, I mean I know she's your sister, but I don't think that choice is up to you."

I could tell by Liam's tone of voice that he wasn't messing around. " I don't think you should lead her on. Act uninterested, tell her your in a relationship, anything I don't care! I just don't want her hurt by my friends."

I had quickly ran away after overhearing this, acting distant towards everyone for the rest of the week.

Since then, 2 years later, I've had a boyfriend. we just got out of our 2 year relationship, both agreeing that we were slowly drifting apart.

I look up at my feet, after recapping all of this. My makeup had smeared, and I could hear Eleanor in the kitchen. I walked over to my bed in the room I had taken over throughout my college years, and flop down.

Just a few more days and Liam will be here and I will be out of this room.

It actually seems quite bizarre to me.

Thoughts of excitement and memories from college fill my head and I fall asleep.
