I spent the rest of the night in my room. I guess everyone ended up staying the night, because when I walked downstairs the next morning, everyone was in the kitchen eating pancakes. After I grabbed one, I walked away, ignoring questioning glances from everyone.

I tugged the old sweatshirt of Liam's that I was wearing down, so it was almost covering my short clad bum. I pull my hair up into a messy bun, and go into the screening room. Once I settle down, I use one of the remotes and turn on the Xbox. I grab the controller and pull a blanket into my lap. I sign onto my live profile and start playing COD. After about 30 minutes of playing, Michael walks in.

"Um.. hey. Liam just asked me to check on you."

I look over at him and nod, signaling that I was doing good.

"You play?"

He asks, most likely noticing the game on the screen.

I nod.

"If you want you can join me."

His eyes light up a little, at least I think because the only light in the room is coming from the screen. Michael goes over and grabs a controller, as I pull up a new game. He sits down next to me, but not like.. super close.

After an hour or so, we've played 4 separate games and I've won all of them.

"I can't believe a girl beat me."

He gets out.

I laugh and lightly punch Michael on the arm.

"It's not my fault this Payne has got amazing xbox skills."

Michael rolls his eyes, their light green color even more captivating then Harry's.

"Yeah. I found another talent of yours."

"Oh yeah? And what would that be?"

"Your definitely a real Payne in the arse."

"Wow Michael! Your sooo creative I've like, never heard that one before!"

"Aw thanks Bri! I tried soo hard to please you."

We both crack up, and I finally notice how close we're sitting next to each other.

After a few moments of actually comfortable silence, Michael speaks up.

"So Harry? Didn't think he'd hurt someone like that."

I sigh and run my hand over my face.

"I didn't either."

Michael looks down at me.

"You didn't deserve that, or him."

I take a chance and lean into Michael's shoulder.

"I know."

His arm wraps around me and I cuddle into his side.

"I'm sorry about it. You deserve a lot better than that."

I chose to not answer him, but instead take in the situation. Michael smells really nice. Better than I thought Harry ever could. There's a sweetness to him, but an overlapping shyness that makes him pretty cute. I never thought a guy could have that naturally pink lips either. His hair is currently dark with red accents, and it looks amazing on him. His styles matches mine too. Tough but fitting.

And in this exact moment, I found myself falling for Michael Clifford. Hard and fast.
