Chapter 21

We pulled up outside my house, I climbed over Ethan so I could get out the car to go get my mom.
I knock on the door but there was no answer, I try to open it but it was locked.
I gave Ethan a funny look which made him come over to me.
"What's wrong babe?" Asks Ethan
"My mom, she isn't answering the door and it's locked" I say whilst I was starting to panic
"Baby calm down" Ethan says whilst placing him hand on my shoulder.
I try to call my mom but it goes straight to voicemail, at this point I was starting to freak out, bad thoughts rush to my head. I think I'm having a panic attack
"Baby calm down breath" Ethan was starting to get worried too
I took a deep breath in through my nose and exhaled deeply through my mouth.
I was starting to feel a little better but I was still confused why my mom wasn't here I mean I told her about tonight and she seemed pretty excited about it too.
*BUZZ* *BUZZ*
I answered my phone and it was the hospital
"Your mom was involved in an incident with your father and I'm afraid she's in a pretty bad condition at the moment"
I broke down to the floor as tears flow down my face
Why is this happening again why is it always my mom getting hurt I say to myself
Ethan sat down next to me and hugged me really tight, I felt safe in him arms
"Princess what's happened you know I don't like seeing you like this" Ethan says whilst planting a small kiss in my forehead
"I-it's my m-mom again she's I-in the h-hospital in b-bad condition" I say whilst stuttering at every single word.
"Baby that's terrible do you want us to drive you" asks Ethan with a concerned look on his face
"Y-Yes please but it's supposed to be our anniversary night and I've ruined it" I say as another tear fell from my face.
"Don't say that ever again, this is not your fault at all and you haven't ruined it baby stop blaming yourself for everything" Ethan says whilst carrying me to the car bridal style.
Ethan told his parents Cameron and Grayson everything, they understood and drove us straight to the hospital.
I remained on Ethan's lap the whole drive with my head buried into his neck not wanting his parents to see me cry anymore.

~~10 minuets later~~

We arrive at the hospital and me and Ethan take each others hand and run to the reception to see we're my mother was
"Room 7 floor e" says the lady
We run to the elevator because it would be quicker than the stairs.
I ring the bell to the ward and me and Ethan run in to see my mom lying there with so many wires coming out of her.
I dropped to the floor but Ethan was there to catch me.

I know this chapter was pretty short but I'm so tired so I'll update y'all tomorrow
