Chapter 23

I couldn't give a shit about me getting hurt at this point
"Ethan i don't give a shit if i get hurt. He hurt my mom!" My voice started to crack
"Baby come on don't do this i don't want you getting hurt" Ethan says whilst comforting me.
I should just listen to him but i had already pushed the ground floor button on the elevator.
Once we reached to ground floor the doors open, i ran out past the reception desk and out the revolving doors with Ethan following behind me.
I ran to my car and opened to door and started the engine, Ethan was in the passenger seat. His face was really red from running.

~~~10 minutes later~~~
I arrive at my moms house. The door was open but i knew i closed it before we left, my dad must be inside. I unbuckled my seatbelt and opened the car door but not closing it on my way out.
"Oh-my-god" i said in shock
Revealing my fucked up dad. He was smashed everything up the pictures of me and my mom were teared up into hundreds of pieces in the floor followed by the shattered frame. The couch was tipped on its side and the kitchen was torn apart.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" i yelled at my dad. He quickly turned around and started the stomp up to me. I flinched and squeezed my eyes shut because i knew he was going to hit me.
"GET THE FUCK UP TO YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT" my dad yelled back at me leaving a strong scent of alcohol in my face.

Ethan's pov
"GET THE FUCK UP TO YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT"
Them words made me feel so mad. Anger rushed through my body as i clenched my fist. I saw Amelia run up the stairs wiping the tears from her cheeks, i chased after her giving her dad an evil look on the way.
"Baby im so sorry you had to hear him call you them words, you are not worthless at all you are worth everything don't listen to him he's just an alcoholic mess." I tried to comfort her
"B-but he c-called me w-w-worthless a-and its true i-i am wor-rthless" she says stumbling with each word that came out of her mouth.
"Princess i never want you to say that about yourself ever again because you are the best thing thats ever happened to me and hopefully very soon you will be named Amelia Dolan" i said pulling her into a tight hug.
"I like the sound of that baby i love you so much thank you for everything" she says whilst giving me a soft kiss of my cheek.
