Chapter 37

Graces pov

Its been almost a week since me and Cameron had planned to move away to London, UK and i still haven't told my parents and i don't plan on telling then neither.
I know I've only been back a few months but its been the best, being treated like a teenager and not a baby is the best but im almost 17 i drive i have a weekend job i get good money and to top it of we have enough money for a 3 bedroom apartment in London, 3 bedrooms because one for me and Cam, one that will probably be used as my office/makeup room and the third room for a baby in the near future.

Ive been packing bit by bit because i didn't want to make it to obvious but im almost done, i have to be ready by tonight because im leaving tomorrow morning before my parents wake up but im gonna write them a note and hopefully they will understand.

"GRACE DINNERS READY" i hear my mom shout from downstairs

I quickly finished of putting my final items in the cases you know just my makeup and electronics.

I zip up my 2 cases and put them under my bed before heading downstairs.

20 minutes later

Once i finished my dinner i helped mom and dad with the dishes then kissed them goodnight before going to bed because i have an early start tomorrow.

Ethans pov

"Hey baby don't you think Grace is acting differently" i ask

"Yeah i was thinking the same thing but she is almost 17 and she's obviously becoming more mature yano wanting her own space and time to herself" says Amelia.

"Yeah true i suppose plus she has a boyfriend and everything, we are in our early thirties i guess we haven't really experienced a good relationship with Grace but she gotta do what she gotta do" i say.

"Exactly, just let her be shes an adult now" smiles Amelia

"Okay baby" i say as a cuddle up to Amelia on the couch, i kissed her cheek and then we start to doze off.

Graces pov

Im sat at my empty vanity table and trying to figure out what to write, bunches and bunches of scrunched up paper scattered around the room. Then i had an idea.
"Dear mom and dad i know I've only been back a couple months but I'm now starting to become an adult thanks to you for treating me like one and i started to realise that Ive got to live life at the fullest and live my dream, im moving away from everything me and Cam are starting a new life, i just want to say thank you for being such good parents to me and treating me well, food on the table a roof over my head and two very special people i call my parents is the best thing that ever happened to me but it's time i go besides your almost 35 years old, im gonna get on with my life whilst you get on with yours, i promise to make you proud i love you so so much,

I finally finished writing and it was perfect, everything was of my mind and now i was able to sleep but before i go to bed i say my goodnights to my parents and my final goodbyes but they don't know yet.

I run downstairs to my parents room

"Night mom" i say as i hug her tightly.
"Night dad" i say as i hug him tight

"I love you" i say.

"Goodnight sweetie love you" mom says.

"Goodnight dude love ya" dad says.

I head back up to bed and get some sleep, tomorrow gonna be a big but busy day.
