"INFERNAPE!" you screeched as you walked into your bedroom to find that everything had been burned to a crisp. Your ex fire type was standing in the middle of the wreckage face flaming in the middle of a blush. He held up a clay heart.
"I was just trying to finish it." you blinked several times. "Um (your name)? Are you okay?" he looked scared, yes little five foot nothing you scared the big mean fire/fighting type.
"What is it?" you asked as you walked closer, the heart was a small pink thing with rainbow lettering.
"It's nothing!" he shouted hiding it behind his back, his face was redder than the apples growing on the tree out side. You raised your eyebrow and took a step closer, causing him to take two steps back. "Please (your name), just drop it." His eyes were wide and pleading, and his voice had gone softer then you'd ever heard it go before.
"Okay, okay. Sheesh you'd think that you'd be braver about showing me, your best friend, a single little thing-" he cut you off by pressing his lips to yours.
"Here it's for you." he stated as he held out the heart. You took a closer look, and now it was you who blushed. The rainbow colored letters spelled out your name and the words, 'I Love You.'
"Oh Infernape," you sighed and leaned in to kiss his cheek, "I love you too, ya big lug."
