You were walking up the winding steps of a strange tower that had just appeared out of no where in the Veridian forest. The towns folk had become so scared that Officer Jenny had finally called you in. She'd hoped that as the top trainer for the Kanto region you could do something about it. You took a deep breath as you stopped to take a break. Looking up you groaned as you noticed that you weren't even half way up the long stair case.

"Well this is just great." you growled. You pulled one of the pokeballs off your belt and threw it into the air. "Pidgeot I choose you!" your faithful flying type appeared in a flash of light and landed directly in front of you on the steps. "Hey bud," you murmured as he nuzzled against your cheek, "You mind giving me a lift?" you pointed up, and when Pidgeot looked up, even his beak dropped open, he then looked down and his beak dropped open again. You laughed, "Ya I know." he hopped closer to you and motioned with his head for you to climb on.

You did and within a few seconds the levels of winding stairs were flying past in a blur. You let out a loud whoop as the wind tore your long brown hair back from your face. It was a few minutes later when you finally reached the top of the tower. Though poor Pidgeot was pooped.

"Thanks bud, take a nice long rest, you deserve it." he let out a soft coo as you recalled him into his pokeball. Looking around at the room you were in you noticed a large thrown, and slumped on said thrown was a man with snow white hair. He looked as though he was hurt, and you could tell that his breathing was labored. "Oh man," you mumbled pulling another pokeball off your belt. "Venusaur I choose you!" the large grass type appeared at your side. "Thank you can help me get him down?" you asked pointing towards the man. Venusaur looked him over then looked down, and paled, but nodded. You kissed his forehead and smiled. "Thanks hon." you carefully moved the male off of the thrown and onto Venusaur's back.

You were just about to start down the stairs when the male groaned. "W-who are you?" you smiled into his half lidded eyes.

"Don't worry, I'm a friend."

               (Time Skip)

It's been about three years since that fateful day in the Veridian forest. "Hey (your name) Pidgeot and Venusaur are at it again!" Arceus cried as he tried, and failed, to separate your two feuding Pokemon.

"Again?" you sighed and walked down the stairs, oblivious to the conspiratorial wink that the two Pokemon, and one former Pokemon, shared. Venusaur sent a vine whip across the stairs and tripped you. "What the-" Pidgeot made as though to catch you, only to knock you in the other direction at the last second.

"Hey you alright?" Arceus asked as you landed square in his arms, as he smiled down at you. You returned his smile with a glare.

"You planed this." you accused pointing a finger at him. He only smiled and leaned in closer.

"I sure did, so that I could do this." he leaned in and kissed you square on the lips, then pulled away. "I love you (your full name) will you please be mine?" you blinked once, twice and then a third time, then you leaned in and kissed him back.

"I love you to you big lug, and yes I'll be yours."
