Follow You Anywhere

Serperior

You sighed as you looked around you at the forest's endless trees, "Great just great we're lost again." Your Serperior who you had been following, since he refused to listen to you, looked back and glared at you as if this was some how all your fault. "Oh don't look at me like that," you growled, "You're the one who got us into this mess!"

The grass snake Pokemon just stuck his nose up in the air and started to move away from you as if to say that you were annoying him. You could feel your right eye start to twitch in irritation. This was nothing new, as it happened every time your partner chose to ignore you in such a fashion, though it had started happening a lot more since he evolved fully. You sighed as you remembered the start of your journey, and when you'd first gotten your starter Pokemon.

"You know you were so shy back then," you said with a small nostalgic smile, "I couldn't even walk three feet away from you before you used vine whip to grab onto me." he looked at you out of the corner of his eye before looking away again. You could feel tears start to build up and you couldn't take it anymore. "Fine then just ignore me!" You turned away and started storming back the way you came, "I'm going back and taking the other path!"

Serperior stared after you in surprise, you hadn't abandoned him, you'd just walked away as if you knew he'd either follow you or go his own way. He knew others of his kind had left their trainers, having deemed them unworthy, but he never thought once about leaving you and now you'd just given him the choice. 'What did I do?' he thought as he watched you walk away, 'I have to go after (your name) but what will she say?'

He was still trying to make up his mind about weather or not to go after you when he sensed something behind him. Turning around his eyes went wide to see Arceus, and a green haired man standing there.

"Hello, don't worry we won't hurt you." the green haired man stated, "My name is N, and we're here to offer you a choice."

Serperior tilted his head slightly, not sure what to think when Arceus smiled at him

'If you choose to continue down this path and go your own way then you will stay as you are now, but should you turn around and go after the girl then you will undergo a change, though I won't tell you what that change is.'

Serperior looked as though he was about to answer, when the decision was made for him. Somewhere behind him you let out an ear piercing scream.

'(Your name)!' he cried out and took off in the direction you'd gone.

Behind him still standing on the path Arceus smiled while N frowned, but soon both disappeared in a fog like mist.

Meanwhile, while Serperior had been having his mental battle and talking to the other two males, you had run into a bit of trouble. Or rather a whole hive worth of trouble. You looked around you at the swarm of angry Beedrill, Combee, and Vespaqueen. "What have I gotten into now," you asked in pure fear, you were just about to try and back away, only for the swarm to attack dragging a loud ear piercing scream from your throat.

"(Your name)!" a male voice cried out as a green haired male came charging down the path, using both leaf storm and vine whip.

'Wait leaf storm and vine whip are grass type attacks but he's human!' you thought just as you were pulled back by the vine whip, 'Hey Serperior used to do this alot.' that was your final thought before you blacked out.

~Time Skip~

You woke slowly, your eyes blinking closed again at the bright light, a small groan coming from your throat alerted Serperior to the fact that you were awake.

"(Your name) how do you feel?" he asked as he looked you over.

You blinked narrowed your eyes, then asked very slowly, "Serperior, is that you?"

He looked down at you, eyes filled with tears before he pulled you into a bone crushing hug, "Please don't leave me again."

You smiled softly and whispered against the side of his face, "Now there's my big soft grass type."
