I was kind of shocked when I woke up at probably one in the morning and Vincecho wasn't there next to me. I sort of wanted him to be in a weird quirky way.  I slipped my feet over the side of the couch and glanced around curiously. The television had been turned off, everything had been turned off. The only light was the dim stream of white that the moon cast through the glass wall. My feet touched the ground, which was extremely cold, but I rose to my feet and strode over to the window like wall. I placed my hands lightly on the glass and looked out over the millions of pine trees that covered the mountain side until it dropped into the town.

It was calm. I felf fine. Not a care in the world, just me and the beautiful veiw before me. Until it was ruined by the shallow shreik of an unknown female somewhere distant in the house. My eyes widened and I snapped my head around to look around the room, or maybe just the house in general. I rushed upstairs, checked every room, but not a single thing out of order. Another scream, lower this time. "Help me!" the woman shreiked, her voice sounded mangled. I began to panic. I stumbled quickly back down the stairs and searched every room. I found myself in the kitchen, walking slowly towards the cubboard. I pushed the door open, and it creaked eerily. I looked around, eyes adjusting to the darkness. Then I saw it, merged with the floor in the darkness, a trap door. I popped it open and crawled down inside, it was colder down here than any other room in the house. Colder than the floor. Colder than the window. I shivered.

Inside the hidden room was nothing but a staircase that spiralled downwards, I guess I didn't have a choice. I roamed down the stairs, pacing myself carefully, and as I neared the bottom, I could here someone distantly choking on their words. They coughed out as if they couldn't breathe. I quickened my steps. Once my foot hit the bottom of the stairs, it was a long hallway, multiple rooms, each casting dim lights. The second room was laying a shadow, a silhoette of someone, across the floor. I rushed forward, turning and peering into the room, but what I saw, I certainly didn't want to see. I don't think I was supposed to either. I stiffled a gasp down, not wanting to be noticed as I watched, hands over my mouth, as the scene in front of me proceeded like a cinema film. And I hated the way she struggled against his grasp, jerking and kicking her feet to get him to let go, but his hands never uncoiled from her neck, and her breathing came out shallow. I didn't want to hear it. I didn't want to see it. Eventually, her kicks grew weaker until they stopped, and the hands that gripped his wrists in attempt to pull them away fell to her sides, and her head popped back as her body fell limp. Vincecho merely snarled as he threw her lifeless body to the floor. It hit the floor with a frightening thump. There was blood all over her chin, running from her mouth and her nose. It was a pretty gruesome sight to behold. Vincecho stared at her for a moment before a tear slipped from his eye and strolled down his cheek. He wiped it away and jerked his head. "Idiots." he muttered under his breathe.

"V...Vincecho...." I managed to get out, shaky and scared. He jerked his head up to look at me, his eyes wide, and I could see the fear in them. "Alex..." He mumbled, barely moving his hands to reach for me. I took a step back in fear. "Vincecho..." I said more clearly. "I-I'm sorry, love...I just..." his eyes were getting watery again. Didn't think I would ever see him so upset. Especially after what just happened. "Vincecho." I said again. He took a step towards me, and I took a step back. "I....I wish I could start over." he mumbled, not looking directly at me, but he looked at my feet instead. "What have you done?" I asked him. He put his hands on his head and gripped his hair in knots. He shot his eyes up at me in one swift movement, and I could see the crazy in them. "I killed them." He muttered. I took another step back. He pulled his hands away from his now messy, matted hair and reached for me slightly. "I...I killed them, Alex. I killed them!" his voice grew louder and a new fear arose in me. He started laughing like a maniac. "I couldn't do anything else!" he exclaimed, now coming at me slowly, steadily. I continued to step backwards, and I reared the end of the hallway, he was getting closer. "There's no turning back, Alex." He chuckled out, getting closer and closer. I took another step back, stumbling over the first step at the bottom of the staircase, my back hitting another step and I let out a shrill gasp in response. He loomed over my cowering body. "I'm so sorry." he said before he started laughing again, his hands trembling as he reached for my neck. "Vincecho, you don't have to do this..." I said, my voice shaky and broken. "I'm so sorry," he repeated, and his hands coiled around my neck. But his laughing fell into a sob, and instead of strangling me, he pulled his arms around me entirely, holding me close. His entire body was shaking, I couldn't even bring myself to move. He was sobbing, crying so hard that his breathing was rigid and he showed no signs of stopping. "What did you do?" I said again, my voice a whisper. "I killed them." he said softly, sadly, "I'm so sorry.".

(A/n): I am so sorry this took so long to write, it was so very delayed! But hey, it's out now!
