Chapter 8

"Cmon Brandon, show me what you got" Troy said confidently
Brandon pushed Troy into the ground and started to punch him in the face, until knocking him down. Turns out, knocking him out wasn't that hard. Brandon then threw himself into the lake, even though it was freezing cold, trying to find Callie. He search everywhere and couldn't find her. He continued to swim upwards to be able to breathe, but he then saw bubbles coming from the water, he then started to swim deeper into the lake. He then found Callie unconscious. He then carried Callie in the water and then he proceeded to swim back into the pier.
"Callie?! Callie?! Are you alright?!?!" Brandon said
"Oh god!"
Brandon then tried CPR on her. She wasn't responding. He started to give mouth to mouth resuscitation, but sadly it didn't work.
"Oh Callie..." Brandon said while picking her up in his arms and crying, then the unexpected happened, Callie started coughing up water
"Callie?!" Brandon said surprised
"I'm... so.... glad to see your face" Callie said while trying to catch her breath
"Callie!" Brandon said while giving her a hug and crying at the same time. Then Troy started to put Brandon in a chokehold
"Brandon!" Callie screamed
"Stay back Callie!" Troy said screaming and choking Brandon at the same time
Brandon couldn't breathe, so he tried to hit Troy in the stomach but Troy grabbed his other arm.
"Say goodbye to your love Callie" Troy said while laughing
Brandon then pushed his head back to be able to hit Troy in the face. He then proceeded to punch him and again and again to be able to knock him out like he did in the first place. Brandon started to breathe heavy and grabbing his neck while trying to breathe
"Brandon, Brandon are you okay?!" Callie said while worried about Brandon
"Yeah... I think...so... You?"
"I'm fine. Thank you Brandon" Callie said. Then she proceeded to give Brandon
"I thought I lost you for a second" Brandon said while holding Callie in an embrace and holding the back of her head
Callie started crying out of nowhere. She tried to stop but she couldn't
"Hey, what's wrong" He said while putting his hands in Callie's neck and looking deep into her eyes
"I was so scared, being alone in that room, with him, hurting. Brandon, he said that he was going to kill me. I.. I"
"Hey, hey it's okay, I'm here. I got you. You're safe now" Brandon said while pulling back Callie into the embrace.
"We should probably call the police now." Brandon said
"Yeah... we should"
Brandon then proceeded to call the police
A few moments later, Brandon and Callie see Stef get out of the car. The police got here with her
"Callie, are you okay? What happened?" Stef starts searching Callie to see if she's hurt
"Long story, I'm just glad to see you" Callie said while hugging Stef and they both started to cry
"Um, there's something I need to tell you, Jesus is in the hospital, he is really hurt" Stef while trying to hold back her tears
"What? How?"
"I'll explain in the car, let's get you checked up with the police, and go straight to the hospital"
"Okay"
