Chapter 9

Everyone got into the car. After that, Stef started to explain what happened to Jesus.
"Wait what?" Callie said
"Yeah, apparently Jesus and Nick were having a fight, and Nick hit Jesus right in the face and.. um and Jesus fell down" Stef said that while trying not to cry.
Brandon and Callie looked at each other, worried on what will happen to his brother.
"So where's Nick now?" Brandon asked
"Um, he got arrested"
"So, is Jesus going to be okay?" Brandon asked again
"Honey, um I really....um don't know" Stef said clearly crying for his son's life
Callie noticed that a tears were falling from Brandon's eyes. Callie went to grab Brandon's hand. She looked at Stef to see if she was watching, but she wasn't. Callie didn't want Stef to have the wrong impression of this situation. Callie just grabbed Brandon's hand because she knew what he was feeling. The feeling of not know if your not going to see a member of your family. Callie remembered that feeling perfectly. It reminded her of her mom. When her mom died, she was devastated, and when she was crying a lot, Jude went by her side and just grabbed her hand. It calmed Callie, so she assumed that helped Brandon. When she grabbed his hand, Brandon looked at Callie. He gave her a look of 'Thank You'. Time passed, and Callie and Brandon fell asleep. Callie fell asleep in Brandon's shoulder and Brandon on her head.
"Callie hun, how are you...." Stef said but then she noticed they were sleeping. Stef got angry at first, but she didn't say anything, because she knew what Callie had gone through, but for their luck, she didn't see them holding hands. Half and hour passed, and the finally got to the hospital.
"Brandon, Callie, wake up. We're here" Stef said with a worried face
Brandon and Callie woke up.
"I'll meet you guys in the lobby" Stef said
Callie started to get out of the car, and Brandon just stayed there. Callie noticed Brandon not moving and said
"Brandon, it's going to be okay. I promise"
Callie grabbed Brandon's hand again, reassuring him everything is going to be okay. They both got out of the car and started to walk into the hospital.
