The Forbidden Mate

CHAPTER 1-

He ran through the woods catching on to an scent that stopped him in his tracks...  It was the Abenaki the enemy pack, he knows for sure they most likely caught his scent  also.  

He starts to panic when the scent gets stronger... He starts running in a different direction away  from the scent but its there too  as if they are surrounding him. knowing  that if  the Abenaki pack finds him they will kill him for his trespassing into their territory since he is the Alpha's son  of the Nakoda pack.

A tan chestnut  colored wolf emerged from the forest and howled  to alert the rest of  the pack of  his findings and then snarled at him as the rest of the pack appeared. There had to be  at least five or six wolves here against one. It was a lose - lose situation he either died fighting or they either will just kill him or take him in as a prisoner then they would end up killing him anyway...

He decided to stand his ground  he growled back  at  them.. then dodged the first wolf that throw itself at him then defended himself  against the next  two. Three more come at him and one  slashed  his  claw at him making him  fall hard on the ground  as the others  go to finish  him off....

from there  everything went  black for him... he transformed  back into his human  form  and left there  to die laying in his own blood...

HIS POV-

I woke up in a warm place and to the smell of blue berry pie. I looked around  i was in a little cottage.. very confused on how i got here. Then i remembered everything and how i was attacked .. i thought i was going to die then...so I tried to move but a shot of intense pain  went through my whole body when i did. "don't try to get up you need to rest" a feminine voice said.

She walked infront of me she had brown hair and these stunning blue eyes. " how did i get here?? how am i not dead??" i asked the girl. "my name is hazel I was out picking blue berries in the woods and found you their with major wounds and blood everywhere." she explain. 

wow hazel is petite and short did she carry me here?? i'm not gunna ask..... " i am one of the healers here so i dressed your wounds for you they will take time to heal... whats your name?" 

"I'm charlie" i  replied as she sat in the chair next to me she was really beautiful.. it drove my inner wolf crazy ..  she was probably a tribal member of the Abenaki tribe which includes the pack that she probably has no idea about. "what happened to you ?" she interrupted my thoughts. 

I thought about it.... i can't tell her because she might just be human.. I cant risk revealing to a human that were wolfs are real... " I don't remember what happened.." I replied looking down. " well thats okay do you want some blue berry pie? and some hot tea?" she asked as if she really wanted me to try her pie. " sure" i said with a smile. 

She got up to get it from  the kitchen but then stopped and looked at the the door in panic.. so i listened in and heard two male voices no theirs more..  it was a whole group of guys. She grabbed my wrist  and  pulled me up.. dannng shes strong! I felt tingles go up my arm as she pulled me down a hallway and pushed me in a closet. i felt the pain of my injuries as soon as she let go of me... "ouch! whats going on??!!" i said. " Its my brother and his..... umm.. friends .... your not supposed to be here, your suppost to be in the infirmary but...." the front door slammed open interrupting her. " stay here and be quite" she commanded then leaving  the room the closets in and shutting the door....
