CHAPTER 2 -
HAZELS P.O.V.
"WHAT DO U WANT?!" i screamed in fear at the darkness. "HELLO!" i yelled. a figure in a brown cloak appeared. "PLEASE DONT HURT ME!" i pleaded as it approched.. It reached its black claw towards my face... and i jumped.
it was just a nightmare.... light was shining from behind my curtains I look at my clock - 7:35. I decided to get up and get ready to go pick blueberries out in the woods. I grabbed my basket and started towards the woods. Half way in the woods i smelled... blood. My eyes widened my brother and the pack must have attacked something or someone last night....
I keep walking until i made it to the blueberry bushes I start picking them until my basket is full. The wind blowed a scent to me .. it was blood again but alot stronger. I follow it farther into the woods and spot a person laying on the forest floor...and blood everywhere.... I take a closer look it was a boy about my age..with black hair.
He's in trouble he's lost alot of blood, I used my wolf strength to lift him over my shoulder and sneak back to my cottage with out anyone seeing my little self careing this heavy guy.. that would be hard to explain to the villagers. once i entered my cottage I layed his limp body on a lay back chair and set my basket of blue berries on the kitchen counter then went to get my healing bag. I rush back over to him and apply healing herbs to his wounds and dress them in bandages.
I took a good look at him for anymore cuts .... he is a good looking guy with tannish skin with black hair. He must be a enemy pack member from another tribe I can sense the wolf in him I really hope he is not dangerous... I walk to the kitchen and started on my blueberry pie and my tea and brushed off the worry.
A few hours later my pie had finished baking and i was sipping at my tea when i heard movement. he woke up and looked around confused.. then tryed to get up. "Don't try and get up you need to rest" i said from behind him. I walked in front of him so he could see who he was talking to. his eyes completely caught my attention they were so green .
"how did i get here?? how am i not dead??" he asked me as he looked up at me looking tired and confused. "my name is Hazel I was out picking blueberries in the woods and found you their with major wounds and blood everywhere" I explained to him. He just stared at me like I was crazy so i said "I am one of the healers here so i dressed your wounds for you they will take time to heal... whats your name?"
"I'm Charlie" he replied. I sat next to him and looked him in the eyes .. They were so gorgeous they had light blue specks in them. "what happened to you?" I decided to ask. He probably thinks I'm human he can't sense my wolf because- "I don't remember what happened" he interrupted my train of thoughts.
He had a look of distress on his face... " well thats okay do you want some blueberry pie? and some hot tea?" I asked hopefully. "sure" he smiled. So i got up to fetch the pie and tea.. but I heard my brother talking from outside and the rest of the pack with him.
I panicked if they found him here with me ..... it would not be good at all! Charlie probably isn't very welcome.. So I grabbed his wrist and pulled him down the hall way to the closest room with a closet. I pushed him in hoping I didn't hurt him. "OUCH! WHATS GOING ON??" he asked. "Its my brother and his....umm..... friends, your not supposed to be here your supposed to be in the infirmary but..." I tried to explain but the front door slammed open interrupting me. "stay here and be quite!" I told him hoping he would listen to my words of wisdom then left and shut the room door.
