Perrie didn't show up to school for the rest of the week. She couldn't. She didn't want to be faced with the amount of newly added pressure on her shoulders thanks to her own actions. She should have known that Kate would have told everyone, but she was too caught up in the moment to think about what she was actually saying into Kate's ear. She actually couldn't believe that those words had come out of her mouth.

Flashback

"You should know something, Kate Shepherds. I'm going to your boyfriends house tonight. But before you ask why, I'll tell you.." She said, then leant into Kate's ear and whispered something that made Kate's eyes go wide.

"You know how I'm singing a duet with Zayn in music? Yeah, he chose Whistle by Flo Rida. You do know what that's about, no? Well, I'll tell you, it's about blowjobs, and Zayn and I are going to practise. The song, I mean." Perrie whispered, smirking as she watched Kate's facial expressions change from cocky to horrified.

"You bitch!" She screamed, running out of the cafeteria and running into nearly everyone in her way.

End Flashback

Perrie was actually disgusted with herself. So disgusted that she couldn't even face Jade for the rest of the week, and she was closest to Jade out of the group. All three had called multiple times; Jade had even called in to see if she was alright. Perrie didn't answer the door, but she did wonder how the hell Jade got her address from.

At the end of the week, the doorbell rang again. Perrie took her time to answer it, but was shocked when it was Zayn. She only opened the door wide enough so she could fit half her body outside.

"Yes?"

"Um, hi. Can I come in?" Zayn asked, noticing the state that Perrie was in.

"Why?"

"I want to talk." He said, looking down at the ground.

"Why?"

"Please? Don't make this harder, Perrie. You know you need to talk about this to someone and, well, I'm here."

"What if I don't want to talk to you?" Perrie retorted.

"Well, you obviously aren't talking to anyone else. Yeah, Jade told me what was wrong with you." Zayn said, noticing Perrie expression change.

"What was wrong with me? You think something's wrong with me? There is nothing wrong with me Zayn!"

Zayn couldn't help but let his heart beat a tad faster when Perrie said his name.

"I-I didn't mean it like that, I swear. Jade just said that you weren't talking to her so I thought I'd try to get something out of you." He said, panicking a little bit. This might be the one chance that he could get to talk to Perrie outside of school; he'd never try during school because of the current rumours, so he couldn't let this chance go. "Perrie, I'm not mad at you, if that's what you think."

Perrie looked up from her nails, staring at Zayn. "Why not?"

"Can we talk about this inside? Please?" Perrie just shook her head.

"The answer will always be no, even if you ask me ten years from now." She said, before stepping inside and closing the door, only stopping when Zayn's foot moved into the gap.

"Leave me alone! For gods sake!" She yelled, pushing on the door even harder.

"Perrie, please. Please, please, please, plea-"

"Shut up and come in, Jesus Christ." Perrie cut Zayn off, she wasn't in the mood to hear anyone's begging. "Don't expect anything fancy."

"I figured that out when I took you home the other day." Zayn said, walking inside Perrie's house. He saw, well, not much. It was basically just a square box with a couch, a table and a bed, a small hallway where he assumed the bathroom was. This was nothing compared to the luxury of his own life. He tried not to make any comment about the emptiness, as that would be rude. He awkwardly stood in the centre of the room, unsure of where to stand. Perrie shut the door, sighed, then offered Zayn some sort of beverage or whatever she had in her 'fridge'. It was just a cooler bag, filled with all sorts of food and the odd can of alcohol.
