I took a deep breath walking through the halls of my new school. My mom had sent me to live with my grandparents on my dad's side of the family for reasons I won't mention. Its the middle of the school year not to mention so anxiety is a given. Transferring to W Academy during winter break only heightened my depression.

A guide for the school showed me around prior to now, but I'm still having trouble locating my classes.

The bell rang and I made my way to my second to last class. Walking in, I chose a seat in the back to the left alone. Like usual. And then he walked in. He wasn't all that much of a looker compared to everyone else, but caught my eye nonetheless. He sat at the front of my row, eyes trained on his phone, similar to me. One thought crossed my mind after that day.

I want to know more about him.

~~Time skip a few months later~~

"Hey Tino!" I called out, waving to him in the school court yard. He turned my way and smiled slightly, only to turn back around. A sigh escaped my lips. I have only a few friends, one being a girl my age, who transferred in a day before me. She was from Hungary. And a few others that I don't know too well. I've only talked to Tino a few times, but a small crush had formed in a matter of minutes. I learned we loved the same music and that he had a fear of spiders.

I sat back down at the picnic table and sighed. Ill try harder.

A Few Weeks Later

"Well why don't you give me your number and we can talk more?" I suggested to Tino who was looking down.

"Yea that sounds like a good idea." He replied grabbing his phone. We swapped numbers just before the bell rang.

Maybe I'll have better luck.

Over The Summer

Senpai(aka Tino): Idk (y/n)... should I do it?

(Y/N): Yea... Tell her how you feel. Do it before it's too late.

I smiled through the slight heart ache after sending my reply. Maybe he will be happier. I'll cheer him on from the sidelines. He wants to tell a girl hiw he feels during their study date. I hope he gets what he wants. The pain stung a bit but it will get better.

Later That Day

Senpai (aka Tino): She turned me down...

(Y/N): Oh, I'm so sorry Tino. What happened?

I hate to admit it but I'm happy he got turned down. I feel bad yes, but now maybe I have a chance.

Senpai(aka Tino): She said she already know how I felt and asked me to be friends since she likes someone else.

My smiled dropped. I know what that felt like.

(Y/N): I'm sorry. It's just not meant to be. Keep looking Tino, you will find the one you deserve, I just know it.

I smiled and hoped. I hoped we would have a chance. That night we talked for a long time about our pasts and got much closer than before.

A Few Weeks Later

Senpai (aka Tino): So remember the job I started two weeks ago?

(Y/N): Yes, lol, What about it?
