Tiffany ~

My heart's pounding; I'm on the verge of sweating - will they like me? My heart goes crazy as I step into the room. Mrs. Wu and mom are delighted at my transformation, and Kris is beyond surprised.

I'm actually surprised at Kris myself. He's in a white tux that looked REALLY GOOD on him. His blonde hair was styled - bangs swept to the side.

He looks really nice...

"Darling you look so beautiful!!!" Mrs. Wu squealed. "My beautiful daughter, come here!" Mom said as we embrace. I hugged Mrs. Wu also, complementing how beautiful she was. I complemented mom too, and they both gave me a shy response.

My eyes darted to Kris, who was staring at me. Is there something wrong?!! Is my makeup smudged?! Is my dress torn???!

"Kris, go complement her! Girls love hearing complements from guys!" Mrs. Wu ordered as I blushed. "You too Tiffany!" Mom said beside Mrs. Wu.

Mom and Mrs. Wu shooed us to another room, giggling as they did so. I bit my lip, nervous at what Kris would say.

I shouldn't actually be nervous at all. Why am I like this? I asked myself.

Kris ~

She's stunning. Beautiful. Gorgeous. And dare I say it? A goddess. She was a goddess in my very eyes. As she stepped out of the room earlier, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I was speechless.

She was wearing makeup and a pretty white lace dress that reached her knees. Her milky white shoulders were exposed, which made the both of us a bit uncomfortable. Her hair was bouncy and curly, which made her look cute and beautiful at the same time. Her feet were clad with ivory hightops, matching the color of my tux. Mom must've wanted us to match. Now, Tiffany was just a few inches taller, which meant that if we stood close together, our faces would be very close.

I recalled earlier that mom wanted me to complement her. And I gladly will.

"Hey." I said, getting Tiff's attention. "You look pretty."

"You don't look so bad yourself. The tux looks nice on you." Tiff said, smiling.

"What magic did they do to you in there? You look so different." I said, looking at her outfit. "I-In a good way."

Now I'm stuttering?! Get a hold of yourself Kris.

"T-Thanks. Umm... there's really no magic. It's just the dress and makeup." Tiffany stuttered, blushing.

My heart was beating faster and faster by the second, and my face was getting as red as a tomato, just like Tiffany.

"Whew. Hot in here, huh?" I said, fanning myself. "Uh yea. Wanna go outside?" Tiffany asked me, heading towards the door.

I follow her, eager to cool myself down before mom catches all this. As the doors open, a small breeze cooled my body down. In a few awkward and silent minutes, Tiffany started shivering because of the lack of warm clothes.

I took off my tuxedo jacket and placed it over her shoulders, as her eyes met mine and she blushed. "T-thank you Kris." She whispered.

"You're welcome." I smiled. "So.... about my couz." Tiffany started. My eyes shifted to her, and I was interested of what her she was gonna say.

"She wanted you guys to play a game tomorrow and find out where she is. I'll be helping her, and you guys won't see me. The game starts after school, in the garden and near the gazebo. That's all the info unnie wanted me to tell you guys. And I suppose that you'll spread the news?" She asked.
