Tiffany ~ you

"I found you... Tiffany." Kris whispered.

I stood there, frozen and not able to utter a word. Kevin, my first best friend and crush, was right in front of me. But instead, I saw Kris, my enemy, the one's heart that I broke. How did this happen?

I stared at the keychains in our hands, and my hand trembled as I touched his. "It's the same..... You were Kevin the entire time?" I whispered as Kris nodded. "I just figured out everything right now." Kris says, looking at me.

"I can't believe that you're right here. I've been looking for you for so many years.... I cried so much after you moved away." I said, the tears finally falling. "I know. I did too. I'm sorry Tiffany." Kris said, engulfing me into a warm hug.

"I felt so incomplete and torn apart when I heard that I was moving to Korea. For a week, I cried and did nothing. All I thought of was you. I thought to myself that it was my fault that you didn't have a friend the rest of our elementary and middle school years." Kris said.

I rested my head on Kris' broad chest, listening to his story. "But then at first when I met you, I thought you could be the one. I wasn't so sure yet. And then there you were with the names 'Hye Young' and 'Tiffany.'" Kris says, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me closer to him. "Just now, I realized everything. Your love for teddy bears, your actions. I just- can't believe that I found you." Kris said.

"I can't believe that I found you too. You were here all along. Kevin..." I whispered. Kris puts both hands on my shoulders, making me face him. "What happened to you after I moved away? Did you make new friends?" Kris asked as I shook my head, my arms wrapping around him as I cry into his chest once again.

The bad memories all come back so suddenly, and I poured out my feelings and my story as Kris listened intently to it.

Kris ~

As Tiffany hugged me again crying, I felt that something was wrong. "What happened Tiffany? Tell me." I coaxed her. Tiffany finally confessed everything to me, how she moved to Korea when she was fourteen.

She told me everything, from after I moved to how much she hated to be a victim of bullying.

"Tiffany. Let's not talk about that right now, let's talk about you.

"Are you ok now?" I asked her as she thought for a moment. "Yeah. Since you're here." She said so quietly that I almost couldn't hear it.

"I'm glad I met you so long ago." I said, sighing and holding Tiffany close in my arms. I felt her heartbeat quicken, and I pecked her forehead to clam her down. After a while, when she calmed down, things started becoming awkward.

"Umm.... Thanks Kris." She said, her cheeks red. My cheeks were red as well, and I was hot, almost sweating. "It's kinda hot, isn't it?" I nervously laughed as Tiffany nodded.

"We have a lot of catching up to do. But first, I need to give you something." I said, tugging at her hand as we both walk out of the house. "Kris, where are you going?!" Tiffany said, confused.

"You'll see!" I said, opening a car door for her and starting the engine. I knew exactly what would cheer her up- with something she's always liked since we were friends.

"I hope you still like ice cream and plushies." I said smiling.
