Chapter 12-- JUST FOR YOU
The sun is up. Our ragini is out for jogging.
She walks some distance and gets tired and sits on a nearby bench.
"Do you need water??" A voice asked from behind.
She took the bottle and drank.
"Thanks.." she said with a smile and turned back.
A man of her age was standing looking at her. He was someone whom she has never seen before in dehradun.
"Hi...I am lakshya.." the boy said with a huge grin on his face.
"Sorry I don't talk to strangers."ragini replied and started jogging.
"Excuse me i gave you my bottle to drink water and now you are telling you don't talk to strangers" lakshya was walking beside her.
"I told thanks for the water and now what do you expect??" She asked without looking at him.
"Listen I am new to this place..and don't knw anything about this place..atleast we can be friends" he asked her with high hopes.
Ragini turned towards him and was about to shout at him but was cut by a sudden voice.
"Papa....I was searching for you in the whole park and you are standing here disturbing this beautiful aunty" a little boy of 5years asked lakshya.
RAGINI was mesmerized seeing that boy. His face had a hidden seriousness.
"Sanskar..what's wrong with you?? I told you not to leave the house..if something would happen??" Lakshya sat on his knees and hugged that boy
That name bought back all the past memories.
"I am sorry papa but I was missing you..and I don't even knw anyone out here and my all friends are in Mumbai" sanskar complained.
"Awww mera baccha...so what if you have no friends to play with I am with you..now let's go and make some breakfast..here people are not interested in making new friends" lakshya said and took sanskar with him without looking back at ragini.
Ragini was observing all these standing at a distance. Lakshya and sanskar have a great bond. Lakshya is not only his papa but his mentor,friend,suporter and what not
Ragini's pov
I wish It was really you Sanskar..I don't even knw if you have ever loved me or not. But you knw I love you so much with every bit of my damaged soul, I love you. You were the one person who knew me inside out. You were the one person who believed in me you were the one person who never gave up on me. And I am sorry I couldn't save you. I am sorry I brought this upon you. I wish I could turn back on time . And if I had a choice I
Wish it was me in your place. Moreover you were the one who made me realize my worth and taught me to fight. You taught me to care..to love..to be kind. I miss you Sanskar..I miss you the most.
After spending some alone time in the park ragini went back home.
There sujata ram and kaka were already waiting for her on the dining table.
"Good morning people..sorry I am late." Ragini greeted all of them.
"It's ok..You are a busy person now." Kaka told having a bite of the sandwich.
"Not busy right now...I have taken leave for the next 15days." She replied.
"Ragini it's again you in the headlines aren't you tired?"  ram praised her
"Ram she the youngest and the best advocate our country is having at this moment..what do you expect?? Media will alwys have interest about her life." Sujata said making her eat more.
"Listen ragini a guest is gonna come today. And sorry baby we won't be at home. Please behave and make him comfortable" kaka advised her and left the table.
"Ok" ragini agreed and got into her room.
"Ram does varun knw about ragini's life..or anything...??" Sujata asked.
"No..nothing...accha let's go"
The three of them left the house with ragini in it.
Ragini was concentrating on her new cases. Though she was on a leave, she had laods of work.
It was already midnight. She completed all the works and was about to take rest.
"Ting Tong..." the door bell rang.
Ragini paced towards the door and opened it. Tears escaped her eyes when she saw the person before her.
"Sanskar...Sanskar You are alive...I missed you so much..." she hugged him.
"Where were you?? Didn't you miss us...?? Tell something..." ragini said still hugging him.
The man pushed her aside.
He was confused by ragini's sudden gesture.
" I am varun....varun Mehta...not Sanskar.." he said and went in without looking at her once.
She broke down again....
