"......why?" Not able to digest the fact that it was my father, I am negative to the idea of having a second betrayer from my own family.
"You backed out for using your eyes." He just stood there, with slight surprise visible on his face.
"You tried harming m-"
"Arbor, your fear has lost control over you." The large pleasant smile on his face, made me realize - His intention.
Looking at father, I smiled. Clearly putting on a perplexed expression."Arbor?" Sister mocked me as she bumped her palm on my head.
"Sis! Aren't you being a bit too much of a mortal. Killer-joy." I snapped at her. This time a rope wrapped around her neck, being pulled upwards by by gravity, of course, reciprocating the science of gravity.
"Yeah. Be sure to work on hand-combating." She flicked her hip length dark brown braid on my face, "Free advice." She winked at me and gave a kick on my elbow as she exited.
As if that will be truly "free", firstly to take note of, she is highly unpredictable. Secondly, she is Amare, dangerous inside out.
Before I knew it, father had left my cave. As long as I could remember, wasn't it evening when I entered my cave. Why is the sun beating down such strong rays? A few minutes of illusions changed the day? I heaved a huge sigh, and looked around my room for the human blood, I was going to use as ink. It spilled. The glass shattered to powder right in front of me. The sun, it's different today.
I went out to glance at the sun. The temperature outside was cold, It's artic cold even with the sun beating down. Nacis walked up to me, "It's been eleven years since that day. Today marks the start of the twelfth year. We shan't forget the trauma of that day. To be precise, you are not in the state forgetting that day, Arbor."
I stood there expressionless, is it pain that I should feel or guilt? He pointed to the ground beneath us, and circled his finger multiple times. I didn't know what he was trying to do. Lifted his finger and flicked something of it, as if throwing it to the sun. He smiled at me and before I could analyze anything action, he submerged himself.
Being just one of my acquaintances, I perhaps didn't know him enough. I ran, to my cave with the fastest of my speed, picked up my stopwatch, it's time to meet him.We need to leave.
............................................................
Amare and me stood right under Mercury, clasping our own hands, keeping our eyes shut tight. "You're going against yourself, aren't you?" She asked me. It wasn't the second to converse, I signaled her. The soil of Mortal Earth taking us in its wrath, pulled us onto to the surface of the Mortal Earth. It goes by for immortals in nano-seconds, as for mortals there, it might be a few seconds more than forty-three years.
We found ourselves amoung humans, right in front of our home. We looked at each other with determined eyes, and ran to the gates of the building. Letting our spirits enter, leaving our bodies outside.
"Have come to meet the only mortal member. Huh?"My brother spoke up with a sinister smile, seeing our spirits.
It's evident that sister has gotten way stronger than the last time I saw her spirit, the color of her spirit's eyes changed. But, that didn't waver my brother even to the slightest.
The Earth had a layer of fog, which had eminents of the Sun. Mortals, are battling their lives, yet no speculation of it.
"My power surpass yours."
