Tenth Story: Believing In You

It was almost a year since you and Neji had been living together at the Hyuuga mansion. The days had went fast and everyone in the Hyuuga had gotten used and loved hanging out with you! At dinner time you would  always make everyone laugh and they really had grown in to you as they respected you a lot.  However, as in everyone house there would be a little of rival spirit. Hanabi was the next heiress to the Hyuuga clan as she would train everyday hard, also trying very hard to get every Hyuuga members to like her for her not for being a heiress. With this aim Hanabi started to not like the fact that you were living int he same mansion as Hinata and Neji.

One morning Neji had to rush for a mission so when you wake up you find yourself alone in bed and that day you decide to spend the day at the mansion. You get up from bed, brush your teeth and fix yourself , rushing to go and ea breakfast. It had been such a long week and you were kind of sad that Neji had to spend the day on a mission, as lately he had been going to a lot of missions and during the week you only spend around 5 hours alone with him. You missed spending time with him and as you were eating breakfast by the pond in the Hyuuga garden as after a while Hanabi comes your way. You distract yourself from the thoughts of Neji and look at her smiling " Good Morning Hanabi." Hanabi sits next to you smiling " Morning(y/n)! How are you ?" You smile gently " I am good thank you, How about you?" Hanabi replies " Me too. Where is Neji-nii san ?" You look away rather sad but try not to give in to sadness as you reply putting a fake smile " Oh he is in a mission!" Hanabi gasps " Another one? I have not seen Neji-nii san for a week now! Don't you miss him?" You look up int he sky smiling " I miss him everyday, but that is how a ninja life is Hanabi. It is filled with mission and those missions fill one's heart with sadness, happiness, hater and love. It is inevitable, that is why sometimes I just wish we were both normal people.I hate him being far away from me and I have the insecurity I have if he is going to be back or not.."  You than realize you had spoken your heart to loud and turn at Hanabi " I am sorry my dear.. i shouldn't have filled your head with silly things." Hanabi gets up smiling " It is OK (y/n). I have to go now and train a little bit, see you." Hanabi leaves smiling as she gets far from you her smile turns into a smirk.

Meanwhile, Neji was still on the mission with his team and you go to your room and clean the place up, however as a ninja you hated to stay and do nothing so you decide to go out and hang with Naruto. But, you had no idea that Hanabi was following you.  Naruto had a day off as being a weekend and he was asleep until you knocked on his door " Naruto!!" you yell from outside as he gets up and opens the door.

" Good morning (y/n)" he says with a a lazy voice and attitude and goes to bed covering up. You stand there confused and decide to jump on him to wake him up. As you do so Naruto ends up barely breathing as Kurama feels the same. Naruto jumps out of bed complaining and complaining as you throw his clothes in his face "Get dressed, we are going shopping " Meanwhile, Hanabi had seen everything as she thinks to herself ">> Are you cheating on brother Neji with Naruto ?<<"  

As you and Naruto were spending the day together buying different food and souvenirs Hanabi was stalking the two of you. Night had fallen on Konoha as you and Naruto were in his house playing card games while Hanabi had returned home and she was waiting for Neji's return. She was sitting next to the entrance pretending to read a book as she was absorbing around. Neji finally comes from his long mission as he enters the main door he notices Hanabi reading. "Hanabi?" he talks to her as Hanabi drops her book running at Neji " Neji-nii san, you are back!!!" Neji pats her head walking away as Hanabi follows him,

" Neji-nii san how was it ? Did you get hurt?"  Hanabi asks as she walks next to Neji.

" It was fine, and no i am great. Go to your room now Hanabi, it is dangerous to stay outside at night " Neji says as Hanabi falls behind than she decides to just put her plan into action. " Neji-nii san, (y/n) is not in her room..." Neji turns at Hanabi " It's OK, she will be back." He says with a calm and confident voice. Not liking this Hanabi decides to lie " She is in Naruto's room. She went on a date with Naruto and now they are sleeping in his place.. Hinata-nee chan told me!!" Neji stands there shocked as he asks to where Hinata was but Hanabi told him she was on a mission and wouldn't be back in four days. Neji than decides to rush at Naruto's place as Hanabi looks at him smirking feeling proud about lying.
