InuyashaxFoxDemon!Reader ~Sick~

Hey! It's me! ^^ I'm back with another request! Sorry if this took a while, I've been super busy with school. ;-; I'm back though! With another chapter too!

~Sick~

You wondered how it had gotten to this. You looked down at the silver haired half demon currently sleeping with his head rested on your lap. You moved you hand down to feel his forehead once again. It was covered in sweat and still felt quite hot to the touch. You hoped that soon the medicine would kick in and make Inuyasha's fever go down. 

He had gotten ill in the past day and had completely refused anyone's help at first. You had grown fed up and stubbornly settled him down finally to get some rest after he practically fell into the nearby river from a raging fever. You let out a small breath and looked down at his now calm face.

You weren't quite as embarrassed by him laying on your lap as you usually would be because everyone else was away. Sango and Miroku had decided to go with Kaede to gather herbs to help make more medicine to help cure the half demon. Shippo had gone out to play with some of the other children in the village. This left Inuyasha and you all alone in the hut, which, you thought, was the reason you were both so close right now. In front of everyone else, Inuyasha never really showed much affection to you, even though you two were a couple. 

You blushed a little at the thought again and smiled down at his face. Even covered in sweat and feverish, he was fairly handsome. 

Your fox ears twitched as you heard the fire crackle. You were like Inuyasha, a half demon. However, unlike him, you were half fox. 

You yawned a little bit, wrapping your tail around him to try and give him more comfort. After a few more minutes, you leaned down to give him a small peck on the lips, ignoring the fact that he was currently sick. Just before your lips could touch his, a hand reached between you two, successfully blocking any possible kiss. 

"Keh.... What do you think you're doing?" Inuyasha quietly mumbled while looking up at you, his amber eyes shining in the light of the fire.

"N-nothing... I just thought I'd steal a kiss."

Inuyasha shook his head. "I'm sick. No kissing."

You smiled at his worry and shook your head in response, making a slight pouty face.

"But Inu~ I don't care if I get sick from kissing you."

"No buts...." 

He looked to the side embarrassed, turning slightly red. You giggled, quickly leaned down before he could do anything else, and kissed him. He grunted as your lips met and finally sighed into the kiss, returning it. You sat back up, pleased at succeeding. 

"I win." You winked and stuck out your tongue at him.

"Keh... Sly fox..."

You giggled again and gently rubbed his ears, trying to lull him back to sleep. 

You whispered, "Sleep..."

He relaxed back into your lap and closed his eyes. You successfully lulled him back to sleep and smiled softly, leaning down and kissing his forehead. You wouldn't mind just staying like this for a while longer.

 And there we go. It was short, but sweet hehe. I really liked how this turned out for once. Thank you everyone who voted on my previous stories! I really appreciate it!
