Chapter 1 - Mystery Guy

Katies Point of View

I plugged in my earphones and was instantly transported into my own world. I sang along not really caring what the others in the park thought of me. I headed towards the tree looking down at my feet almost tripping over tree roots.
'Hey' Said a guy from behind me. I ripped out the earphones from my ears and stared at him. His big blue eyes fixed on mine
'Your a really good singer you know' He said smiling. I blushed and he smiled. God I could look at that smile all day.
'Thanks. I didn't realize anyone was listening.' I said
'Well I was and it sounded really good. But I've never heard that song before. Who is it by?'
'Well I wrote it but its not very good'
'Seriously! I've always wanted to write a song but it always turns out wrong. Wait... That rhymes!!! I could write a song. Oh um my names Ian. I forgot to mention.' Ian happily said
'I'm Katie. The song isn't quite finished yet. You could help me finish it if you want.'
We sat down on a bench together and finished it off. Ian started making a beat with the pen on the bench while I sang. At the end he clapped.
'Umm is this to soon but do you want to go to the movies with me. I mean as friends of course.' He said with his blue puppy dog eyes pleading for me to say yes. I nodded and walked back to my house with Ian by my side. I knocked on the door and waited for my brother Anthony to open up. When he finally did his mouth opened wide in shock. 'Ian?'
Since when did they know each other?...

Hi I'm sorry its short. I will write more next time, this was just an outline and shizzle.  I promise the best bits are yet to come!
