Chapter 3 - The Accident

Katie's Point of View
I woke up at 10am feeling hungry. Ian was still sleeping. He looked so sweet. Oh dear not this again. I think I might love Ian. When I met him, I loved his smile but as we have grown older I seem to love more and more about him. His laugh. His eyes. Even his hair which some people hate and I don't know why. I quickly got changed so I could make pancakes for me and Ian. I walked into the kitchen and found a note.
"Dear Katie and Ian.
I'm sorry but Anthony had an accident.I didn't have your number so I came over. But then I didn't want to wake you because you both looked so sweet together. I don't know when you will read this but please get to the hospital a.s.a.p
Kalel xx"
The whole world felt like it had stopped. What had happened to my brother? Was he ok? I had thousands more questions to ask but I had to go to the hospital. I shook Ian awake with tears streaming down my face.
'Whats wrong' Ian groaned from being woken up so early, or at least he thinks that any time before mid day is early.
'Its Anthony.' I said as Ian's blue eyes widened with fear. 'I don't know what has happened but hes at the hospital an-' I was cut off by Ian grabbing me and carrying me bridal style to his car. He pressed his foot on the pedal and sped off. It was only in tge silence between us that I realized what a mess we looked. My eyes were red and puffy from crying. I had no make up on and my hair was not brushed. Ian's hair was messy and his face was paler than usual. He was also wearing the same clothes as yesterday because he was too lazy to get changed last night.

We finally reached the hospital and ran towards the front desk.
'Hello. Where's Anthony Padilla?' Ian asked her.
'He is in a critical condition right now. Only immediate family can visit. What relation are you to him?' The receptionist asked us. Ian was about to say something but I beat him to it. He stood there like a goldfish.
'I am his sister and this is his brother.' I lied pointing to Ian.
'Ok then.' The receptionist left to go get someone to take us down there to see him.
'Why did you lie?' Ian questioned
'Because I knew you'd get upset if you didn't get to see him. Plus you're like a brother to him.' I replied truthfully.
'What am I to you then?' Ian asked. I wanted to say crush but that would be embarrassing. Although if I say friend then he would think I don't like him and be friend-zoned. But he probably doesn't even like me anyway. Fortunately the receptionist returned with a colleague and saved me from the awkwardness. We followed the man down a long white corridor. Ugh I hate hospitals they are so boring and scary.
Eventually we got there. Anthony was in his own little room. A nurse walked up to us before we could enter.
'I just want to let you know that he is on life support. You can chose to turn it off yet or not. He might not make it but yet again, he could defy the odds and breathe. Only time will tell'

Hey guys. Another chapter written. Hope you like it. I still need some more people to chose from for the character. Hopefully I could write it in the next chapter or two. It depends how many I get. So...*speaks with deep voice* Whats going to happen to Anthony? Will Ian or Katie ever say I Love You to each other? Will the author ever get normal? *speaks normally* well we all no the answer to the final one...
