Chapter 2 - Gaming

Katie's Point of View
"Wait. How do you know each other?" I asked them
"We did a video on YouTube where we lip synced the Pokemon theme. We thought it was alright but some dick removed it claiming copyright." Ian said with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"Yeah and we got 24 million views. We had the most on YouTube and it even made the front page." Anthony said.
"Oh. Anthony why did you never tell me this." I questioned
"Because I thought you'd make fun of me." He shyly said
"No I wouldn't. Why would I?Any way what happened you two being friends afterwards?" I said 
"I don't really know." Ian replied "But I still consider Anthony as a friend."

*5 years later*

"No I'm gonna beat you!" I shouted. Ian and I were playing Mario Kart as Anthony was out with Kalel. I was first as usual on Rainbow Road and Ian was once again last. He should really know by now that he should never challenge me on Mario Kart, especially Rainbow Road, he will always lose. I have been living here for 5 years after mum decided that me and Anthony should spend "Quality time" together. Actually it has been quite fun living with Anthony and Ian. Sometimes I even get to be in their Smosh videos. Although sometimes it has its down sides as I have to the cooking, but I did tell them that if I cook they have to do the washing up.I focused back on Mario Kart as  I drove Princess Peach over the finish line, still in first place.

'Yes!' I screamed  jumping up and down on the couch' In your face Ian'                                 

'Well that's not fair! I demand a rematch'. Ian said, now standing on the arm of the chair .so he was taller than me, although that was difficult because I am 25 and 5'8, taller than Ian is and he is a year older!

'Oh do you now' I said staring into his beautiful blue yes. Wait what. Why did I think that. Do In like him in that way. We are just friends though. Oh crap this cant be happening.

'Umm Katie are you ok? You've been staring at me for a while now and its starting to get creepy.' Ian asked interrupting my thoughts.

'I'm sorry. I was just thinking about things.' I replied staring down at my feet.

'What things?' He questioned. Great do I lie or tell him the truth

Ian's Point of View

'What things' i asked her. Her light brown hair covering her face as she stared down.

'Nothing'  Katie said after a while. We stood down from the couch and sat back down to restart the race. A few minutes later she won again but  this time I came 10th!  at least it was better than 12th.

'Right that's it' I said getting up and bending down towards the white Xbox. 'I'm going to beat you in something that I am good at.' I said while changing Mario Kart to C.O.D Black Ops 2 Zombies. I was pretty sure she had never played this before so she would be rubbish.

'What are we playing then?' Katie asked. Her green eyes staring at me inquisitively patiently waiting for me to answer.

'We are gonna play  Black Ops 2 Zombies and I'm going to beat you at it..' i told her sitting back down next to her. I picked up the controller and pressed online. She stared at the screen waiting anxiously for the map Nuke-town to load, her face creased with tension. We listened to the other players talking so we turned on our mics and started to sing Justin Bieber then Rebecca Black Friday. Screams of pain come down our earphones from our singing. Hopefully their ears were bleeding so much it distracted them from the game and we would win easily. The countdown started for the game to begin. Quickly Katie whispered the hair out of her face. The game started and I took out my MK-47 and started killing the people. Suddenly i got shot down. I watched the replay and there was a god damn camper who killed me! I ended the replay and went back to where I was killed and saw the camper, but they didn't see me. I ran up behind them and stabbed them in the back and quickly I got a new badge called Back-Stabber. I ran around the car and hid and shot the people. I managed to complete a score streak and got a dragon fire. I flew it around shooting people and getting my score streak up again to get K-9 unit after getting another badge called Head Shot and Long Shot. When my time was up the dragon fire deactivated and I released my K-9 unit.

Katie's Point of View

I hadn't died yet fortunately. Unlucky for Ian her doesn't realize that I play this game all the time and I am a master which is the highest prestige level . I scouted the area and noticed a pack of Alsatian dogs running towards me. I thought quickly what to do. If I ran, then the dogs would easily catch up to me and leave me no time to turn around and shoot them although if I ran into someone then they would kill them instead, unless they were not on my team. Plus, It would only be a matter of seconds before they came after me again. But if I pulled out my gun I could kill them fast although it might not be able to kill them because it hasn't got that much power. I quickly aimed my SMG (A.N for anyone wondering what that its a sub-machine gun. I'm sorry if you can't understand what I'm on about with black ops) at the dogs head and shot them. Dog after dog swiftly fell to the floor. I scampered away and climbed up the stairs from the outside to one of the two houses. Someone was there and had placed out a trophy system (A.N sorry again. This is a type of bomb triggered by movement. It is good for campers (Someone who hides and kills people) to protect them). I shot it down with my suppressed sniper and it went off. I sprinted into the room and killed the person. Ha ha it was Ian.

'Damn it. Some idiot just killed me!' Ian shouted sounding very aggravated.

'Well that's not a very nice way to talk about me.' I replied still staring at the TV screen though.

'Im going to kill you later in real life though' Ian laughed

A couple of killings later the timer was beeping signalling that game time was nearly up.

Ian's Point of View

The game stopped and on the screen was final kill cam. And guess who had the final killing -  Katie. How did she get this good? Well Anthony is quite good at it. It probably just runs in the family or something. The results came up and as you have probably guessed, Katie's user name -KillerKatie - was the top of the leader board. In my mic I heard people saying things like 'How the hell did a girl come top!?' 'WTF!!! That girl has no deaths.' and 'Oh my gosh. a girl managed to kill 39 people in 10 minutes! Unbelievable.' Katie was beaming at some of the nice comments although I could tell she was upset about some of them. How ever she managed to beat me - again - although I was quite happy I came 4th. I stared at her. Her hair glistened in the light from the sun setting. Her dimples caved into her face, her naturally long lashes mascara free. She looked so pretty. Only Anthony knows this, but I have had a big crush on her since Anthony showed me a picture of her in their house. That was the reason me and Anthony fell out, because I told him that I loved her, and that took me a lot of courage to say that. He never spoke to me again, I just hope now that he had forgotten what I had told him. 

We finished up on Black Ops and I started to tickle Katie.

'No! Ian please stop. HELP!!!!!!' She screamed. 

'I don't know why you screamed help. Its only us here.' I replied grinning knowing that she couldn't get free.

'Ian *gasp* please *gasp* stop. Why are *gasp* you doing this *gasp* to me!?' She managed to say within gasps of air and laughter.

'Because you killed me on Black Ops. Now I'm killing you.' I told her. She squirmed around on the couch. Eventually she fell on the floor but I still tickled her.

'OW!' She shouted laughing. I love that laugh. Eventually I stopped and looked at the clock. It was 11pm. We sat back down and watched Despicable Me 2. It was so funny. I love those minions almost as much as I love Katie
