Maybe This Was A Mistake

I woke up to the sounds of little sniffles. I look over to see Julia still sleeping but tears coming down her face, I know what she was thinking about. It's gonna be a hard night.

I took my hands and whipped the tears off her face and she slowly started to wake up. I started to rub her arm and said "it's ok." She looked at me and said "thanks" she rolled over to face me and pushed some of the hair out of her face and just hugged me. I smiled and hugged her back. She whispered into my ear "Thank you so much" She got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom and closed the door and then said I'm just getting changed, I walked back over to her room and changed into my truck fit gear. I knocked the door and it opened ton Julia standing at the sink putting her hair in a messy bun. She said " you wanna grab Starbucks before we go to the salon?" "Sure" we got in the car and pulled out of the driveway and drove to Starbucks.

JULIA'S POV:

Austin and I walked through the door to Starbucks and I looked at him and I told him " I have a gift card" and he nodded. We both ordered a caramel frappe but I got a large since I was sooo tired. Austin laughed as I was given this giant coffee and I looked back at him and laughed and took a sip of heaven. We hopped back in the car and took off to the hair salon.

I was looking at the venue for tonight as we passed it and I was really nervous for the talent show, but I also have to say goodbye to everyone tonight. We walked into the salon and I booked out the whole salon to ourselves so nothing crazy would happen. The only people that were following us were awesomeness tv. I saw my hairdresser Dez and introduced her to austin and we got started. Austin just kind of watched as I got the ends of my hair dyed red and then got my hair curled. The final touch was makeup and then we had to quickly get over to the theater.

We took the side entrance and all of the other competition was there and they all just stared as austin and I walked by and into a private dressing room. We both just sat in the dressing room waiting for everyone to be called out for sound check. We watched all the acts but I only did sound check and then we had our own soundcheck.

We got back to the dressing room and we both changed into our stage outfits and Austin looked at me before he went to go sit in the crowd with AC and rob and gave me a hug. I pick up my guitar and grab Austin's and head back stage. I set the guitar in its place and I told the stage manager what he needs to do later. I was last so I had to wait like an hour before it was my turn.

They announce my name and the little film about me stared to play. Everyone laughed when it showed the part of austin surprising me. After that I walked on stage and had my guitar in a stand and then started to talk "hello everyone! I am very privileged to be here and..." **PHONE RING** "Sorry I forgot about this. Hello? Hi Austin. Yeah I see that. You what? ok...."I jumped off the stage and started to walk down the aisle looking for austin on his phone. I soon found him and took him. We walked back on stage and I said "OK you happy now" " Yes" "Lets go Mahone" everyone started to scream and a stage guys came out with Austin's guitar and we played say something. We finished with a standing ovation, we both walk off the stage waving and once we got off I went straight into Austin's arms and started to cry. We walked back to the main dressing room where everyone was and they all started to clap. Austin looked down and I was still crying so he took me to the private room.

He picked up my head and said "what's wrong? We did great!" "I can't do this." " I know you can. I won't leave your side." I wiped my eyes and then we were called back on the stage. We slowly walk on the stage and everyone was clapping. I look at austin and squeeze his hand. I was so nervous. It was the last award " and first place goes to...." "JULIA AND AUSTIN!!!!" I burst into screams and hug austin! We walk up to the stage and take the mic. I sit down on the edge of the stage and austin follows. I look at him and he nods.
