Travis couldn't sleep a wink that night.

"Boyfriends..." He whispered into the darkness. He smiled to himself, knowing that no one could hear him.

Except, of course, Garroth, who had gone downstairs to steal Travis' snacks. Garroth paused at the bottom of the stairs.

"What does that mean?" He whispered back at Travis.

Travis blinked and then shoved his face into his pillow. He was as red as a strawberry.

"N-n-nothing! It d-doesn't mean anything!" He stammered. Garroth grinned, shook his head, and continued to steal Travis' box of Temmie Flakes.

The next morning, Travis' face was still tinted pink, and he couldn't stop smiling. Aphmau, being the good-but-creepy friend she is, picked up on this.

"What's with your face? You got sunburned or something?" She teased. Travis grinned at her.

"Can you keep a secret?" He asked her, looking around to make sure Kawaii~Chan wasn't in the room. Aphmau's face lit up.

"Yeah! Tell me, tell me, tell me!"

Travis leaned in and whispered, "Zane said that we are now officially... Boyfriends."

Aphmau and Travis shrieked in unison, while a confused Katelyn walked down the stairs. She took one look at them and shook her head.

"I don't wanna know," she said tiredly. Aphmau turned back to Travis and promised him she wouldn't tell anyone.

"Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye!" She said. Travis shuddered at the thought of Aph sticking a needle in her eye, but he was glad she had promised to keep his special little secret.

Zane stared at the ceiling. Boyfriends. He thought about that word for hours. Boyfriends. Was he really ready for this?

He turned onto his side, focusing his attention on a faint knocking in the distance. Wait. "Faint knocking in the distance"?

He sat up. Someone was knocking on the front door. Zane got up, went downstairs, and opened the door. Aphmau stood their, a cupcake in hand.

"Oh, hey Aph. What are you doing over here?" He asked her. Aphmau just shook her head, handed him the cupcake, and strolled back down the street.

Zane stared at her until his eyes hurt. What in Irene's name was that? He looked down at the cupcake. Pink frosting. But one thing caught his eye.

In green frosting, across the cupcake, it read,

"I l-l-like you, I love you*"
