"Shall I tell you?" He smiles sadly, "She was my first love."

Your eyes widened at his statement. He catches what you were about to say next.

"We weren't blood related." His lips form in a line, "Actually I was adopted, I was never really apart of their family anyway."

You shake your head, "A family is a family, doesn't matter if you're not related."

"Okay." He sits in silence for a moment until you spoke again.

"Are you gonna tell me or is it hard for you." He looks straight into your eyes but after a while his serious eyes returned.

"I'll tell you. I shouldn't hide things from you anymore."

Taehyung POV [3 Years Ago]

"Taehyung-ah." My sister calls, "Dinner is ready come down!"

At the sound of her voice I immediately rush downstairs, excited for what she has prepared.

"I'm here!" I called back and she smiles.

She's so beautiful..

I lightly slap myself from blushing too hard.

"Taehyung? Come on." She gestures me to come to the table and I did.

She clasps her hands together, I did the same. We both said our 'thank yous' and began to dine until we heard a loud pang upstairs.

Father had finally woke up since this morning's hangover.

"Taehyung-ah it'll be fine, don't look so afraid. Finish up while I go check up on Dad." She let out a small smile before placing her utensils down and heading up stairs.

But how could I finish this meal?

I decided to head upstairs after her, just to hear a small scream and the shattering of glass.

"D-Dad please calm down!" She exclaims, trying to reach out to her insanely rabid father.

I noticed his hand reaching for a broken piece on floor.

"Noona don't do that!" I burst through the doors and manage to push out of the way before he had picked up a stray piece of glass and hurling it at us. My back stung as the

"Dad! Stop!" She exclaimed helplessly.

"You little spawns of satan, get out of my room! Begone demons!" He roared, his eyes seemed to have bulged when he hollered such words to us.

"Dad what's wrong?!" Unnie called out once again, but it was no use. He didn't hear her.

Another bottle of soju flies into the air, shattering against the walls of the room.

"Noona we have to go!" I blurted out angrily, while pushing her out the door.

Yet she still screamed for her dad, but it was hopeless. That man wasn't in the right mind anymore. Not after what had happened after losing mother.

Mother had passed away silently after reaching her final moments in this world. She always had a weak heart yet she still scolded me, and pretended to act strong for me.

Father wasn't this bad before, but now it has gotten out of hand. Yet, Noona still insists that he's okay.

She struggles out of my grasp and began to make her way up the stairs again to try a once more. It was already lost, that man is no longer a father.
