Chapter 14

“C’mon, let’s show you what we have found in the bathroom. It’s this way.” Noocah and Loki, each took me by my hands, leading me to the boy’s bathroom. It is weird how they’re so excited about something in a bathroom, a bathroom is nothing special really – well in my case, and it’s not.

“What’s so special about this bathroom? It’s just an ordinary bathroom.” To me it really looked like an ordinary bathroom, but clearly my brothers think otherwise.

“This is not what it looks like, but there but we found a tunnel that leads to a secret room of some kind. None of us are able to access this room, it shocked all of us with a high voltage of electricity and then there is a purple fire as cold as ice and then it got as hot as a normal fire and it can go hotter. We didn’t want to do anything more to it, so that’s when we thought that maybe you can access it.”

“What made you think that I’m the one that can do it? Most of the time when I try to use my powers, I have no idea what I did and how. I don’t even know what all of my powers are, but to me it looks like I’m finding out quickly and one by one.”

We all went into the tunnel and there it was, the door to the secret room. It sent a high voltage shock wave of electricity my way and to me if felt like a little sting, then the purple fire that the boys were talking about appeared, it was cold and then suddenly, for some reason I had the purple fire in my hand as if I had absorbed it. I don’t even know how I can have the fire in my hand, getting over the shock, I decided to send fire back at the door. “Access granted, welcome to the room of the forbidden children, princess.”

“What the…? How is that access granted? What the hell is going on? How is it possible? The longer I’m on this planet, the weirder things get. I’m starting to think this is all a huge joke!” I’m startled, looking at the door in a confused and fearful way and that got me more intrigued.

The door opened and the room is dark, it lit up as soon as we walked in. There was nothing in there, except for a big round table with chairs all made of stone. There were 15 chairs to be exact and photos of what looks like, all of the previous forbidden children hanging on the wall. The only photo that I didn’t see there, was one of me. Is it because I’m too new to have a photo of me in there or is it because I was kept a secret. Is this something to do with what Violet had said?

“Your brothers were right to show you this room, your destiny and your quest has begun.” Violet’s voice was in my head. Something tells me that my brothers would be a big help to me on my first official quest.

“Is something wrong Moxy? It looks like you’re so deep in thought and don’t know the way back to us.” Noocah joked, looking at me with a serious face, while the others laughed.

“Sorry about that, I think I do have an idea what this room is for, but for now, I’m keeping it a secret until I’m positively sure about it.”

“What do you mean, you have a good idea what this room is for?” Noocah looked at me confused.

“When I’m sure, I’ll tell you. But before I forget, do any of you know where I can find Jayden?”

“Jayden? The one that wants to kick my ass? Why do you want him?” Noocah doesn’t look like he’s very happy about that.

“Yes him. Do you know where I can find him?” I looked at Noocah, with his death glare, I knew it wouldn’t to be easy or very cheery at all.

“Yeah, I know where he is. I’d like to show him who’s the stronger one around here and whose ass is going to be kicked.” Noocah is furious, his eyes changed from chocolate brown, to a warm-reddish orange colour. I gave him a hug to try and calm him down. It looks like it’s working, for now at least.
