Chapter 7
At that moment, I got a fright when I hear a knock on the door of my room and there is someone calling me. “Moxy! Moxy, are you there? We need to get going!”
Realizing it was Noocah and I snap back into reality. I hesitated a little, before calling back to him. “Coming Noocah...!”
Hurrying back to my room, I find him waiting for me. “Where were you?”
“...Sorry, I got distracted for a little while. I was in there...” Showing him where the secret room is hidden. “...So where are we going exactly?”
“We are going to have lunch in the courtyard, mom wanted to do something different for your arrival.” Noocah had a huge excited grin on his face.
“What do you mean different?” I looked at Noocah in confusion.
“Did I say different? I meant to say a surprise, you’ll see when we get there. Are you ready to go?” Its obvious Noocah can’t keep a secret, even though it looks like he’s trying his best not to look suspicious.
“Mm…why do I get the feeling that you’re keeping a secret from me? I may not know you that long, but I can tell that you’re not very good at keeping secrets. It’s written all over your face…and as ready as I’ll ever be.” I gave him a very suspicious look.
We are on our way outside, when Noocah told me to put on a blindfold. He guided me outside to somewhere I don’t know. “Ok...we are almost there. And...Just stand right here.” He giggled like a little girl. “...Take...off...your blindfold.”
As I took off my blind fold, my eyes weren’t adjusted to the light yet, then I hear people shouting. “Surprise!!” Seeing a lot a people I didn’t know, so I have to assume it is the rest of my family. “Who...who are these people? Am I in the right place? Maybe I’m dreaming everything, as usual.”
“Yes, you are in the right place and no, you’re not dreaming.”
Frightened and surprised. “Why is there so many people here? Does everybody here know I’m here?”
“Only the ones that matter. Let me introduce you to your brothers. From the oldest, you’ve already met Noocah, Julian, Loki and Bobby. Phoenix and Grimm…” My mom seemed really excited. “…You probably need to help all them find a wife.” She added laughing.
“Wow...! All of them are my brothers? So no sisters...?” I asked surprised.
“Yes, all of them and none of them are the same, trust me.” Said my mom showing me to walk with her.
“I need to tell you something...something that involves you. I’m sure Computer have already told you about it.”
“Yeah, it did...What’s up with that anyway? Something about a Grimdall guy and you running away, not telling anyone who my father is or something like that.” I said in an annoyed tone.
“Well then...and what I did, was one of the things I’m not very proud of.” My mom said with her head down, looking to the ground. “Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely one of the most rewarding things out of the whole situation...I got you...”
“What do you mean by that?”
“I have broken the forbidden rule. I was forced to do the deed with another man...but it wasn’t really my choice who it had been with…” My mom had a sad look on her face.
“What do you mean it wasn’t your choice? What happened?”
“Well, they have these secret facilities that ‘kidnaps people’ and putting us in rooms with blind folds on. 1 Male and 1 female in the same room and didn’t want to let us go until we did the deed.” My mom got tears in her eyes.
