Queen Dana constantly watched her son grow threw a mirror in her bedroom. No one could tear her away from it, it was heartbreaking to see their queen in such a state. It was for the best though, since the kingdom was taking part in war. So when Queen Dana saw here son get hit, she sent her best Warrior to get him and introduce him to the land of magic.

When the queen went to fight that day she cut down multiple enemies, the thought of having her son back filled her with strength.

She gasped as a sword sliced to her side, immediately a healer dragon swooped down. She grabbed the queen and blew frost at the person who had harmed Queen Dana, as she had been trained. Queen Dana had been hurt in battle before, but never this bad. She was a brave and noble warrior, the dragon set her on a healer bed.

Immediately she felt strong hands press cloth on her wound, she looked up and saw that her personal healer Wilfurd was with her. "Don't worry, you'll be okay," he said Queen Dana nodded, she trusted him. Then she passed out.

Her dreams were filled with Gryffin, how he had gotten play dough stuck in his hair when he was three.

His step mother ran over to help get it out, Queen Dana resented her. She didn't hate her but it was painful to see him have someone else.

Then there was the visions of how he would react to finding out Dana was his mother there were the two usuals, the good one were he would be happy and love her immediately.

Then the more realistic one, were he hated her and would shun her for four weeks, during his entire quest.

There was a good reason leaving him had to be done, for the kingdom would be destroyed if anyone found out he was a shifter.
