Picture of Colt (yum)

Colt's POV

I walked out of the locker room and sighed. The girls at this school are crazy! They keep giving me these hungry stares. I'm just a regular high school boy. I never really had this much attention back in Ohio. It's quite scary.

Trey started talking about "getting the bait", whatever that means. Apparently, he's throwing a party tonight. I have a feeling he's a party person. Of course I'm invited. I don't really like parties but I know my mom is going to make me go. She wants me to make new friends. I think I'm better off alone. It gives me less the drama.

There was this one girl in the gym that caught my attention. She is very pretty. It's very hard to say how pretty she is. "Who do you have your eyes on?" Trey asked.

"That blond over there, She's so pretty."

"You're talking about Sophie? She's bad news. She'll break your heart like she broke mine." he said with a frown.

Just then, Sophie skipped over towards us. She smiled at me. I think I melted. "Hi, I'm Sophie." she said. Her voice is so cute!

"I'm Colt, I'm new here." Why did I just say that? Of course she knows I'm new here. She must think I'm stupid.

"I told you, stay away from the wicked witch." Trey whispered and Sophia punched him in the arm. Trey stuck his tongue out at her and walked away.

Wow, she's so pretty. "Wow you're pretty." I say and she blushed.

"Hoffman!" a coach growled. Sophie rolled her eyes.

"I have to go. We'll have to catch up later."

"Okay!" I say and watched her walk over to the coach. Speaking of coach, where's mine? I don't recall ever getting assigned to one. I sat down in the bleachers when all of a sudden someone called my name. I looked up to see a lady who looked like the incredible hulk.

"You must be Colt, I will be your gym teacher for the rest of the semester." she smiled and told me where my squad isle was. I sat down and was given hungry stares by three girls. Maybe it’s the axe my sister sprayed on me this morning. I heard it draws girls attention to you.

The three girls walked over to me and giggled. They're pretty cute. "I see that you were talking to Sophia, I wouldn't want to get close to her if I were you." one girl said.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well, she mostly dated every guy in this school." The brunette said twirling a strand of her hair. How am I supposed to believe her? Sure Trey said Sophie broke his heart but it’s not like she wants to be with me. "And she breaks their hearts. I just don't want to see you getting hurt."

I looked back at Sophie. She looks so pretty with her blonde hair tied up in a bun. "Yeah, she even went out with the whole football team." The red head said.

"She can't be that bad of a person."

"She's a heartbreaker. She'll rip your heart out as soon as she can. You're too cute to get hurt by someone like her." The brunette said and the coach blew her whistle.

I sat with Trey during lunch. It was pretty awkward since my mom packed my lunch. I have no idea what she packed. I'm actually scared. She never packs me lunch. "Look, she left a little note on the back!" Trey teased and took my sack lunch.

"Give that back!" I frowned and Trey chuckled.

"Give him his lunch back Trey." Some Hispanic dude said.
