Sophia's POV

I pulled back.

"Call me later." I winked and locked eyes with a very angry Colt. I smirked. This is really fun. I started to walk away again. As I expected, Colt followed me. I'm not surprised that he's chasing after me. They always do. I think this one will be quite entertaining. I pushed my way into a crowd of drunken people with silly string. I took a can from some dude and sprayed it all over Colt. I threw the can somewhere and continued on walking away.

"Sophia!" he yelled from a distance. I kept walking.

I made my way back to Janis. I started to dance with her. I saw Colt glaring at me. I wrapped my arms around her neck and started moving my hips to the music.

"Your target is staring at you." she said laughing. I rolled my eyes.

"He is not my target." I tell her.

'Sure." she said winking and then walked off. I can't believe her. This ruins my plan. Colt walked over to me. Wow. He looks hot.

"You got silly string all over my shirt." he frowned in a playful way.

"You shouldn't be chasing the wrong girl." I tell him.

"How are you the wrong girl? I'm pretty sure I was chasing a girl named Sophia." he says with a smirk. Oh. My. Gosh. He's so beautiful.

"So, I am the right girl?"

"You are confusing me."

"That's good. Why are you chasing me? Did I forget my glass slipper?"

"Very funny. I just wanted to know. Do you really play people?"

My smile faded. How did he know? Trey and Felix must've told him about me. And not in a good way either.

"I don't play people. I actually go out on dates with them and I care." sometimes.

"My mom always told me to never believe negative things but right now, I'm starting to believe that you are a player."

I frowned. I guess this game isn't fun at all. He's smart. I like that in a guy. But he's too smart. Maybe I can lie to him.

"Why would you think that? I'm just a teenager getting through high school." I say innocently.

"Girls like you sicken me."

"Girls like me? What are you talking about?"

"You break a guy’s heart. First pretend to have fun. Lure them in you little trap. Once you have them wrapped around your little finger you rip their hearts out and leave them to weep." he said.

"I'm not like that." I tell him.

"Don't lie to me."

Please let this be a dream.

"Fine. I'm a player. So what? Those guys had it coming when they first asked me out. It's not my fault they aren't entertaining."

"Well, I thought you were a good girl. I don't think you are one at all. I can't be seeing you anymore. You'll just be a distraction." he said. My heart started to skip beats. A distraction? This is all moving too fast.

"Can't you at least give me a chance? I'm sure you're dying to."

"I don't need a girl like you to ruin my life. I have too much in my life already." he frowned and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. If you have a problem with me, then stay away from me." I say and he walked away.
