Small apology:
Hey guys! So I'm sorry if I have been taking too many lines from Sir Rob's original books (I swear it's not intentional. I just write what pops up in my head). I'll be trying to come up with slightly more original lines especially for Lilly and Carter, hope you guys understand (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑)
And my concept will be different from Sir Rob's because I have no idea what he is up to (pains of a non-radish reader).

Exenterate: Disembowel
Rapier: A thin, light sharp-pointed sword used for thrusting. It was mostly popular from the 18th-19th century.
Tenuous: Pertaining to something thin or insubstantial.
Amenity: Something that provides comfort.
Mavourneen: I'll leave it to you guys to find out the meaning ;) Either that or wait for the explanation in another chapter.

It had been ten minutes since Miss Hamilton left the balcony, but even then, my blood was still boiling. I saw red, the colour of her blood which I swore to spill across the ground.
How dare she? And how dare he! I couldn't believe that Mr Ambrose would share his most personal information with that sly shrew and not me ― his personal secretary.
"I'm going to kill him!" I yelled and struggled to break away from Captain Carter's firm grip."That fly-bitten, loincloth eating guttersnipe!"
"Who is a fly-bitten, loincloth eating guttersnipe?"
"Him!"
"Well that's enlightening."
I continued writhing. "Let go of me! I need to kill him!"
"No." Captain Carter's voice was firm. "You're just going to do something stupid."
I grunted and tried to knee him in the crotch. I failed quite miserably as my back was facing him while he clung onto me from behind. I was going to murder Captain Carter first, Mr Ambrose second and Miss Hamilton third. Not particularly in that order.
"People are staring at us." He hissed, all mirth melting from his voice.
I tried to bite him.
"Miss Lin-Lilly!" He moved his hand just in time. "Please see sense. You can't just try to decaptitate someone in a place full of people."
"Why not?"
"You'll be arrested!"
"Who cares?" I growled menacingly.
"I do."
He actually had a point. I shouldn't annihilate my employer in front of everyone. It would be too obvious. I would kill him silently in his office tomorrow instead before smearing his blood across his precious upholstery.
"Promise me that you will not do anything rash."
I shook my head defiantly.
"Promise."
"Never! That bloody squashed cabbage deserves what is coming to him!"
"Maybe. But at least be discreet about it. However if you are ever in need of an accomplice, I could be glad to be of assistance."
I stopped fighting back, surprised at his sudden generosity. When was he ever willing to aid me in exenterating others? "Swear on it."
His grip tightened. I couldn't see his face but I was pretty sure that he had a smile plastered on it. "On second thought, I rather not. Who knows whether you will end up silencing me too?"
