Silence.

It seemed to be never ending as we sat in this large room; no one speaking, no one moving. Almost like it would never end.

Familiar eyes flashing bright, their wolves wishing to take control. Worst part being that I was sat between my mates, both having a hand on my thigh and both applying immense amounts of pressure, at this point I can barely feel my legs.

Deciding that I no longer take the silence and wish to feel my legs again, I stand up forcefully though my legs give out and am sent falling to the side and into Felix's hard chest, a grunt escaping my mouth. I push off, legs wobbling and try to find my balance before turning to look at Federico and back to my mates. How could I explain my theory to them, they're clearly unwilling to listen. Maybe I could get around all of this. "I'm going to get some wat—"

"No." Caden growled while standing to his feet. His gray eyes seeming to get darker. "You're not leaving my sight. Understood?" Damn.

"Well, if that's the case, how about y'all get this meeting over with already? There's no reason for you to be acting so possessive." Felix butts in.

"NO REASON. YOU WERE MISSING AND THAT BOY TOOK YOU!" His hands for fists at his sides and he begins to shake.

"Not him specifically, but either way it was all a misunderstanding! We need to start working on the situation at hand!" I move away from all of them and stand looking out the window, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath in. "I have a reason to believe that there is someone out there... someone dangerous, that wants to cause havoc and I'm pretty sure it's not just for any good reason.." I turn back around to see my mates glaring at Rico and roll my eyes.

"Who would that be...?" Silos walks to the center of the room, making himself known and speaking out for the first time since we've gathered. His voice sounding wary; like he knew something we didn't.

"I don't know. But none of the people in this room killed those members in your pack and with that knowledge, who's the killer?" Felix and Caden both turn around, finally being able to grab their attention. "Rico took me having believe that the kingdom was behind it all. I gave my word to him on the name of the Goddess, that they were wrong about it all."

"Lane—"

"I know the consequences, Felix. But I'm sure, that it wasn't any of us." I bite my lip, contemplating my next words. "So I have a proposal." Caden's face has this wide smirk and he speaks his thoughts.

"Yes."

"What?"

"My answer is yes. You said you were going to propose, and my answer is yes, babe." His head lifts up high. Almost seeming proud of his answer.

Felix snaps his head in his direction, eyes red. In a second the two are in a brawl on the floor with fists flying at each other. I roll my eyes at them. After all this time, they still can't get along? Even when they were working together to get me back? I sigh knowing that it was probably them being protective and dominant over me. "Oh for crying out loud!" Silos pushes Felix off of Caden and holds him off to the side. All his energy is out into holding him back and as for Caden, three guards have him held to the side as well. "She meant she has an idea you dim wits. Now why don't you stop acting stupid and listen to her."

At this, I'm curious as to why he may be taking this so seriously. Normally, he'd love to watch the two brothers fight over nothing, probably even make himself some popcorn with chocolate covered raisins for all I know. I was planning to figure out whatever it was he was hiding later on. "I think we should have an allegiance between Silos' pack and the kingdom." Everyone was quite. Rico knew of my idea as I had spoken to him of it on the way here, but the others were bewildered.

Felix pushes Silos away from him, dusting himself off and then looks at me in thought. Looking over at Caden, he was doing the same thing, though I have a feeling the two were communicating telepathically.

A minute passes.

Then another.

And soon we were back to the silence we were in earlier. Everyone thinking. Silos seemed to know his answer but kept quiet. The matters at which the decisions stand upon is up to the princes. They had the choice to do whatever they please and if they said yes, then we could be moving on to what is really important.

Finally, Caden speaks up.

"Guards." The previous three guards came back into the room after leaving unnoticed. "Take this man," he points at Rico, "to the dungeons, as well as all other members that came with." My eyes widen in shock.

"What...?" My voice is soft yet confused. "No. Caden we need them. I don't think we're safe!" I run up to him looking back and forth between him and the struggling Rico in the arms of the guards. Caden looks at me.

"That isn't your decision to make. That man had taken the future Luna Queen in an attempt to cause distress. Aiming for an outcome that wasn't fulfilled. If we let this through, then people would try to do it again. And I cannot have that happen to you again."

"Caden!"

"That's our decision. End of discussion."

"But—"

"End. Of. Discussion." My eyes squint on their own accord. I couldn't just let him do this! I had given my word to them and I won't back down on it.

I land an upper cut to Caden's stomach, failing to do any damage as usual, and sprint to the hall where Federico was being dragged down. "Hey! Stop!!" The men continued walking. "As Luna I command you!" That doesn't faze them. My fingers try prying their arms off but only seem to hurt myself at it. "No! Stop!" Felix's muscular arms wrap around my waist, pulling me off the ground. Thrashing in his vice grip I yell and kick and punch trying to get him to loosen up but he barely flinches. He turns away and walks down a different corridor, the opposite way that Rico was being taken down. "Please, Felix! You can't let this happen! Something going to happen, I can feel it!"

"Hun, relax, nobody is going to hurt you anymore."

"I wasn't being hurt! He was seeking justice! Please!"

Felix walks into a room with light blue walls and a crystal chandelier hanging above a rather large bed. He tosses me onto the bed, cradling me to his side. I continue to thrash around as he tries to calm me down by whispering sweet nothings into my ears. After a few minutes, I lose hope and confide to his smooth, velvety voice and weep into his shoulder. "It's okay. Shhh. You're safe now." But only if he'd listen to me say that I was no actual danger...
