Chapter Eleven

This chapter is dedicared to Kikky15, my only commenter in quite a while and my motivation to keep writing when i was begining to think nobody read this at all :) Thanks dude :D

I woke up in the morning feeling cheerful. I checked my watch, 7:30. I sat up, Angelina was still asleep and Katie was just waking up too. Nini was dozing in a cat bed next to my wardrobe.

"Morning Katie," I said wiping the sleep out of my eyes.

"Morning, Delilah" She said Sleepily.

I slipped out of bed and grabbed my towel from the rail around the fire then making my way through to the showers in my pyjamas. Luckily most people wern't yet awake so I didn't have to wait in a queue, I decided I'd get up this time in the mornings because I liked having a shower every day after spending most of my life washing in rivers and lakes. After a quick shower, I wrapped my towel around me and made my way back to the dorm. Katie must have gone for a shower as her towel was gone but Angelina was now awake and digging in her trunk while her shirt was hanging warming on the rail.

"Morning Angelina," I said tunefully looking out my clothes.

"Morning newbie," She smiles,"you nervous about your first day?" she sits cross legged on her bed.

"Ehhhmm a little bit, yeah.. But it would be worse if I didnt know anyone I think,"

"Ohh yeah your friends with the Weasley twins eh?"

"Yeah I stayed with them for part of the summer"

"Your quite close then?"

"Yeah, their parents took me in, its really nice to live in a real house," I smiled.

"You didnt have a home?"

"Nope," I said pulling my jumper over my head, "I was on the run since I was three, thats why nobody knew if I was still alive."

"ohhhh that explains it," she frowned,"that must have been really hard,"

"Yeah it was at times, especially on my own in the winter time, at least I had my cat for company," I said looking over at my sleeping cat, "its still a novelty for me sleeping indoors! Its quite a big adjustment, I still dont know half of whats normal for everyone else that I havn't even ever thought of" I laughed

"Would you like to come for a tour of the grounds later with me and Katie later? We can help you with your transition into becoming a normal girl," she smiled at me.

"Yeah, we could teach you the art of girlhood," laughed Katie who just came in in her dressing gown.

"Yeah, thanks, that would be really kind," I smiled happily.

"Hey it will be fun roomie," Grined Angelina, "Meet us at the front door at 4 OK?"

"Yep thats fine," I said fastening my robe.

Two orange blurs ran in and bounced on my bed. 

"Moooorning sunshiiiiiiine," sang Fred

"Loving the damp hair, Lila!" enthused George 

"Oh, haha," I said sarcasticly, casting a hot air charm to dry it quickly and trying to detangle my curls with my fingers.

"Nice rats tails, don't you have a hairbrush?" questioned George

"Shut up, George her hair is not rats taily. Its pretty, Rosie " said Fred reassuringly 

I smiled shyly at him and looked over at Angelina who raised her eyebrows, "You can borrow my hairbrush if you dont have one?"
