{{{{{ Hello my pretty's im sorry its been so long, everythings just been so hectic :S but i have a spare few hours so here i am :) enjoy }}}}
We spent the train ride chatting about what we thought Hogwarts would be like and our trips to Diagon Alley.
"Hahaha I met Hagrid when I went to Diagon Alley too, I remember him from when we were little, he used to babysit me," I muse after Harry told us about Hagrid bursting down the door to the lighthouse.
"Really? I dont remember him," Harry said.
The carriage door slid open, "Anything from the trolley dears?" asked a kindly woman in a pink apron.
I stare with wonder at all the treats displayed on the trolley, never having seen them before, except Bertie Botts Every Flavoured Beans which Fred had once shared with me in the orchard where we found a unicorn. My suprise melted into a smile as i recall. Harry had a similar look on of wonder on his face.
"We'll take the lot." he says determinedly.
She handed them all over and Harry paid for them. Ron stared longingly at a nearby pastry.
"Help yourself," Harry smiled at Ron who was practically drooling.
We stuck into the sweets, "You've never had any of these either have you Rose?" Ron said, only Ron called me Rose, he said it was one of his favourite names.
"Actually I'v had Bertie Botts Every Flavoured Beans," I say through a mouthful of liquorice wand, "Fred shared some with me one time when we went...."
"on one of your little dates?" he teased.
"NO RON!"
He only laughed. Harry particularly seemed to like the Chocolate Frogs and the cards that came with them. He was amazed to see the faces moving and disappearing. As time went on a bushy haired girl came looking for a toad.
"Sorry, has anyone seen a toad? Nevilles lost his." she said with an air of authority. We replied that no we had not and before departing she said to Ron, " You've got dirt on your nose, did you know?" and slid the door shut as Rons face went bright red.
As time flew by and we had we changed into our robes, an Irish boy slid the door open and peered in.
"Hi, I'm Seamus" he smiled, " Is one of you Delilah Snape?"
"Yoseph broseph." I said playfully
"Here," he handed me a letter, " came by an owl, it flew through the window and hit the wall oposite" he laughed.
"Thank you," I said as Seamus left.
I studied the letter, my name was on the front in curly writing. I turned it over to see the Hogwarts Crest. With growing curiosity I tore open the letter.
Miss Snape,
It has been brought to my attention that your knowlage of magic proceeds that of any other student in the first year age group and therefore it has been decided that you will enter Hogwarts at third year level. You will find all your books havebeen replaced with the appropriate ones for the coming year. You will be sorted with the first years but from this moment forth you are a third year student.
Safe journey,
Albus Dumbledore
I look up at Ron and Harry, who are still stuffing thier faces. I felt a little sad that I wouldn't be spending the year with my little brother but releived that I didnt have to spend the next two years studying magic I was already proficient in.
"whaddusitsay" Ron asked with his mouth crammed full.
"Im going into third year." I tell him.
His face falls, "Oh... we arn't gonna have class together, I'm not gonna know anyone," he looked close to tears.
"It's ok Ron we can stick together and then we will not know anyone together!" Grined Harry.
Ron cheered up immensly from then on and they both continued stuffing thier faces. I felt a little ill at the thought of going into a year where everyone had already made their friendships but comforted that I'd have Fred and George and I couldn't wait to tell them.
