Alex opened his blurry eyes and blinked trying to bring into focus the two wide green orbs staring concerned at his face.

"Oh good you're okay." The weird boy muttered.

"Okay I know I shouldn't wake you as your wounds are so...bad, you're actually pretty lucky Molly is studying to become a doctor. After she got used to the whole horse body thing she became pretty willing to help, but that's not the point." He said shaking his head. "You were yelling in your sleep something about a forest, and I didn't know what else to do..."

The Forest.

Alex interrupted him,"Do you know what I was yelling about The Forest?" maybe this could get him to remember why he was in that stupid forest to begin with. His subconscious remembering it but him not being able to recall it at all.

"No, sorry, it was mostly incomprehensible the only words I recognized were The Forest."

So much for that lead.

"What year is it?"

The weird boy looked at him, ironically, weirdly,"2016, why?"

"2...2016?"

"Yes?"

Alex turned a shade lighter and sat up a bit, wincing, to look at the unusual boy in the eyes and said in barely a whisper,"Is this a joke?"

"No, why?"

"The last time I heard the date it was 1920 May 22."

The boy if possible turned a shade paler, opened his eyes even wider, and instinctively reached for his notebook before realizing that it wasn't a good time.
