The sun shined through his eyes making the whole world look orange for a few seconds. Then he unstuck his sticky eyelids and looked around. He was startled for a second then remembered where he was. The old fishing shack. He took a few seconds to marvel at the unreal sensation of waking up in an actual bed in an actual house and for once without having someone staring into his eyes. He wondered where Charlie was but soon got distracted from the matter at hand.

There was somebody sitting on a stool near the bed talking on a phone. Or at least he supposed it was a phone. It was yellow and clunky and looked nothing like a normal phone but she was talking into it so he wasn't sure what it would be unless it was a phone.

She looked at him sort of startled still rambling on to the person on the other end of the line. The woman leaned forward and pushed him back down flat onto his back.

Why do people keep doing that. Now all he could look at was the underside of the top bunk on the bed. As she leaned him back she stuck a finger up to her lips and started shushing him.

"So yes," she rambled on," he has a horse body attached to his torso. No! I'm not kidding, so you'll come soon? Thank goodness."

She gave him a thumbs up and a somewhat encouraging smile.

"And all well have to do is bring him to the regular hospital and you'll bring the vet and a doctor to the patient's room? "Alright well I guess we'll see you soon."

She hung up the phone then looked back at him.

"We're going to get you an actual Doctor now!"

"You couldn't just treat me. I mean it's only a few scratches." Instantly he regretted the words that he had just uttered.

She leaned  back on her stool, hooking he feet underneath the bed and raised a skeptical eyebrow," a few scratches?" She motioned to his blood stained fur poking out from the bandages she had put on him.

"Yeah, actually, quite a few scratches."

She stuck out her hand,"I'm Molly by the way."

Of course he couldn't actually shake her hand but he nodded and said,"Oh ok."
