Artemis' POV

Just seeing him smile made my day, but I know that my hunters will not like him traveling with us. I turn to look at my brother who is deep in thought.

"Apollo, I think we should tell the hunters, after that could you tell Hestia that he is with me?" I ask him and he nods

"Although I think we should tell him some things... you know" Apollo said grimly and I nodded

I turned to Nich to see him writing. When he is finished writing he hands me the piece of paper and Apollo and I read it.

You mean that my parents weren't my actual parents? Yeah, my mom told me that, well... Jade, told me that I was found at their doorstep with my necklace on. You also don't need to tell me that I'm a demigod, I got that notion when the werewolves attacked. But I do have one question, who is my godly parent?

I looked at Nich with shock.

"You mean you knew that they weren't your actual parents, yet you didn't hate them? And you don't hate your godly parents?" I ask him and he smiles slightly as he starts writing again

As Nich is writing my Lieutenant walks into the infirmary tent and looks at Nich. I look at the girl and she has electric blue eyes and black hair.

"What do you need Thalia?" I ask her as she studies Nich

"Some of the Hunters are wondering why your spending so much time with this boy. I personally don't care but it is a little strange that you'd spend so much time with him. What's his name anyway?" Thalia said quickly

Just as I'm about to respond Nich finishes writing and hands me the paper. Thalia looks over my shoulder to read it as does Apollo.

Parents? You mean to tell me that I have two godly parents? And no I'm not mad at them, they probably had a good reason to leave me, Uncle Fred also helped take care of me. Oh and to answer Thalia's question, my Name is Nicholas.

"Nice to meet you Nicholas, my name is Thalia." Thalia said while holding out her hand

Nich takes it hesitantly. I can feel the nervousness rolling off of him in waves. I couldn't blame him, being in a camp full of man haters then having the biggest man hater and her second in command be nice to him. That would probably raise a few alarms for him.

"Thalia, would you be okay with listening to our talk?" I ask her and she nods and sits down next to Nich who shuffles away to give her room

"No need to be afraid, I'm not like the other hunters, I have male friends. One of them is a son of Hades the other a son of Poseidon. I also have a brother who is a son of Jupiter." Thalia said simply and I saw Nich relax a little

"So Nich, you asked if you had two godly parents. Well you technically have four. Your mother is Hestia/Vesta, the goddess of the hearth" Apollo said simple which caused both Nich and Thalia's eyes to widen

I glared at Apollo who just shrugged.

"What? Nich is always straight forward, he doesn't like it when people beat around the bush" Apollo chuckles and I roll my eyes

"Wait, I thought Hestia was a maiden goddess?" Thalia said quickly

"She is, Nich was made from the Hearth with the help of Hades/Pluto. So he is one of the strongest demigods alive. Although I do hope it doesn't go to his head..." I say and I glare slightly at Nich who is looking into the distance thoughtfully
