Percy's POV

When we got out of the throne room, we walked a little off to the side where the Hunter sat down. Thalia and I sat next to them.

"So, what's your name?" I asked the hunter who took out a note pad and a pen and started writing

After the hunter stopped writing they took the note off and handed it to me. I took it and I read it silently.

Hey Percy, my name is Nich, Nice to meet you.

I looked at the note then I heard Thalia clear her throat. I looked up and I saw something that perplexed me. I saw a guy with ruby red eyes that held a lot of pain, something I could relate to, and jet black hair.

"Well... First I would like to apologize for calling you a girl" I said and a smirk formed on Nich's face

"Don't worry Perce, Nich is pretty laidback. Unless of course you bring up family issues like what Ares did." Thalia said and I chuckled

"Yeah, that was pretty stupid of him. By the way, Nice job kicking his ass. Although the fire was a surprise." I said which made Nich smile

Nich took started writing again and I looked at him.

"Why don't you talk? You don't have to answer if you don't want too" I said as Nich finished writing and gave me the note

Thank you Percy, Ares confessed that he killed my family. I had to kick his Podex in for them. And to answer your question on why I don't talk. It's quite simple really, the past year has been murder on me, my girlfriend broke up with me after being together for two years, then Ares sabotaged my parents plane in turn killing them and leaving me as an orphan. So I slowly withdrew from the world and swore off love.

"Wow, do you know who broke your heart?" I said and Nich nodded

"It was Aphrodite's kid" Thalia said and I clenched my fists

"Why can't Aphrodite stay the Hades out of people's lives?" I growled and Nich shrugged

"Perce, why did you want to talk to Nich?" Thalia asked

"I wanted to ask him who his parents were, but I know that might be a personal question so I won't ask it" I said and Nich shrugged as he started writing again

I looked at Thalia and then back at Nich who gave me another note to read. 'Man, this is going to be hard when playing capture-the-flag, Nich will probably just do his own thing and no one will know what he is doing...' I thought to myself as I read the note.

I will convince Artemis to stick around as long as you can get Hades to stay after the meeting. Then I'll show you. But you have to swear on the River Styx not to tell anyone about this meeting or that I'm a guy.

"I swear on the River Styx not to not divulge any information that has been given to me regarding the identity of Nich, until he sees fit" I say and thunder booms and I see him smiling

"I think it's time to go back into the throne room before Zeus blows a fuse" Thalia said as Nich put his hood back up so it covered his face in a shadow before he stood up
