Nora laid down on the green grass, thinking about everything that has happened. A small portion of walkers have made their way back to Alexandria, and everybody was terrified about what could happen. She tried to ignore the world, looking up at the blue sky.
"Nora, do you think we'll live?"
Nora turned her head, and looked at Bailey. "Of course we will, I hope."
She mumbled the last part, and looked back at the blue sky. It was one of the ten things she found beautiful.
"So, how are you and Carl?"
"We're okay, why?"
Bailey smirked at her best friend, well really the sky. "So, you two haven't smooched yet?"
Nora looked around confused for a moment, "what does that mean? Is it bad? Will I die?"
Bailey rolled her eyes, Nora was always the soft one of their 'friend' group. She was surprised how Nora didn't know what that meant, and she reads all the time.
"Okay, I'll put this lightly," Bailey sat criss cross apple sauce, and looked at Nora with a smile. "When two people like, love, each other they take it to the next step–"
Nora sat up really quickly, "we didn't do what that means."
"I'm just trying to ask if you two aren't just flirting with each other."
"We're not," Nora sat up just like Bailey, "we're just very good friends."
"Okay, I believe you. I'll let it go."
There was a moment of silence between them, Nora looked up at the sky. "I'll admit, he does have pretty eyes."
"Oh, so you do like him?"
"No! I just think they're pretty. Is that so wrong? I'm practically complimenting blue eyed people."
"Yeah, yeah, soon it'll be more than a compliment."
Bailey winked at Nora, who looked down at the ground all flustered.
