BANG! The gun went off again, again it didn't touch me.
I looked up and found Simon, holding a gun, and 2 motionless bodies in a pool of blood.
"Let's get you out of here kitten," he said.

1 week later
I stood in front of my parents caskets. Their bodies were no moving. It was scary to think I didn't have someone to turn to in troubling times. I didn't have another voice to sing me lullabies. No more kisses when I get hurt. I know I was already too old for that stuff, but I still was somehow missing it more than ever. I couldn't stop the tears.
Simon put his arm around me to try an calm me down.
"I know it's hard," he comforted.
I didn't respond.
"It'll get better soon," he cooed.
"I wish they could've met you," I said crying.
"I wish my parents could've met you too," he said hugging me closer.
I sat in silence the rest of the ceremony. Simon keep his arm around me and comforted me.
