"Please wake up, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault, I should've hid you or something. I know now we're both going to die but I wanted to say something before we do. I've felt this way for a short time. I just recently realized how I feel," Simon whispered. I moved my hand around so I could find him. When I did I grabbed his shoulder and hoisted myself up. I opened my eyes to find we were in a prison cell.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"The agency," he whispered. His voice was very calming. Especially since I was freaking out.
"Am I going to die?" I asked, staring into his eyes.
"I won't let them touch you!" He whispered angrily.
"I'm going to die," I whispered.
I held onto his neck, trying to keep myself up. He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me close to him.
"I love you," he whispered into my ear.
Tears started to roll down my cheeks.
"I love you too," I replied.
"Why do they want to kill us? What did we do?" I asked.
He paused for a minute.
"I didn't obey orders. I refused to kill you," he replied.
"You were supposed to kill me?" I asked.
He sighed.
"Remember at the airport, at the restaurant," he said.
I nodded.
"I was supposed to poison you, or kill you somehow," he said ashamed.
I stayed silent. I fell in love with my supposed to be killer.
