Chapter 18 ~ Sunset

Shyne's pov

I woke up, feeling dazed and happy. I looked at my alarm.

"Holy Duck! It's freaking 12 o'clock!"

I ran into the bathroom, got dressed, and ready, and went into the living room.

I saw Will on the couch, Rayne on the floor with Poke, Bee sitting with Stacy at the kitchen counter, and Amber had just walked in too.

I went to sit next to Will, but Amber, out of nowhere, decided to be rude, and push me to the floor.

"Oww!" I cried, as I fell onto the floor, my hand felt like crap.

"Shoot! Shyne, you okay?" Will jumped up from his place on the couch.

"Yeah...I think."

"What the hell Amber!" Will yelled.

"Sorry..." She said, a smirk appearing on her face.

"I'm gonna get some ice." I said, walking out of the room, since only Rayne, Poke, Amber, and Will were in the living room.

Rayne decided to help me, which meant Poke was coming too, but I told Will to stay in the living room.

"I'm fine." I convinced him, before going to the kitchen,

Rayne helped me with the ice, and I went back into the living room, with Rayne and Poke behind me, only to see Amber sitting with Will, laughing, so he must have said something funny.

A spark of anger lit up inside me. Jealousy? It couldn't be. We weren't even official of anything. Or was it jealousy?

As I came into view of the two of them, Amber grabbed Will and kissed him.

I stopped, standing there in shock of what I had just seen.

"W-w-will?" I stuttered.

Will pushed Amber away.

"Shyne! It's not what it looks like!" He yelled.

"That's what they all say!" I yelled back, tears streaming down my face.

Why does this happen to me?

I ran to Grape's room.

"Grape!" I called out as I stopped when I got in, shutting the door.

"What?" He said, standing up, from his chair at his desk.

"Your girlfriend kissed Will." I said, finally calming down, since Grape's situation was worse.

Grape pulled me towards him and we both sat down on his bed.

"A-are you okay?" I asked him.

"Honestly, I was using her as a distraction. You knew I had liked you, right?" He responded.

"W-what?" I stumbled over my words.

"I like you Shyne. You make me feel like I can do anything. You make me happy." He pressed on.

"I-i don't know Grape...I just can't deal with this right now..."

I walked out of his room, and went to my own.

I sat down and closed my eyes. I needed to think things through.

I could go out with Grape, and live my life happily. Or...I could go for Will, who made me feel, well...something different. Really...unexplainable.

I just needed time away from everything.

I ran out of my room to my car. The small blue car that I kept in the back.

I drove away from the house, and looked onto the road.

I stopped right in front of a perfect view.

I got out of the car and sat on the hood of the car. I looked at the sunset.

Kinda funny, since you're meant to enjoy sunsets with others.
