The last thing in Pandora’s box
And all the she could find
When demons from hell, cunning as a fox
Broke through all her strongest locks.
Even when all hell’s about
Hope, shivering, stays by
Even when death’s your only out
Relief you could not find.
Is tis nobler to love and loss
Than to never love at all
Because if you do you’ll never know
Happiness’s enthrall.
Does my self-assured spirit offend you
Well sorry can I be
When you’re looking down at the world all blue
Being happy could changes things, it’s true.
In a world with constant spinning,
Do you know what I see,
If you could stop your need for winning
You’d understand me.
And when the world comes crumbling down,
And hope has failed you so,
Then there is one more thing,
I think that you should know.
Being happy for a short time,
Is better than never at all,
Because this off beat rhyme,
Though it stops, hope still goes on.
