"I can't believe I am back to my human state." Ariyday smiled looking at his human hands before changing them to lion like ones as he laid in bed. "It seems under weird circumstances you have managed to control the magic that turned you into your feral form." Airavata remarked cupping his chin trying to process how it may have occurred. "Maybe the stress or adrenaline triggered something..." He mumbled as I looked over Ariyday lightly giggling that he was so much smaller than his lion form. It was hard to tell they were one in the same. His green emerald eyes peered up at me, glittering against the light. It had been so long since I had seen them or really his human body. "Hopefully I can come up with some armor that will accommodate the changes so that I don't end up running around naked.." He chuckled bringing his bandaged hand to his mouth. "Even walking around seemed so unfamiliar, I feel so short." I glanced over his bandaged body before looking up at Airavata.

"How did you managed to survive your head being bashed in?" I asked blinking light poking the bandages wrapped around Airavata's head breaking him from his thoughts with a wince. "Ouch, I always have a thin layer of water surrounding me that I create from the moisture of the air. When he grabbing my head I condensed all of it to the temple of my head before impact. Unfortunately the force of it still caused me to black out, and for that I apologize my lady."

"There is nothing to apologize for, I am just grateful all of you are alive." I smiled before frowning sullenly. "But my father and Masrur are still being very distant."

"Well they will both come around, just give them both time to lick their wounds." Ariyday chuckled rubbing his head gently.

"Speaking of which how did Masrur break Yorio's control. He had more dark magio than you did my lady." Ariyday said turning his attention back on me.

"Oh I used my own magio to slowly chip away at the dark ones that had enveloped him. But I was too afraid to hurt him to do very much." I shrugged biting my lip.

"But Lady Balendin it was enough to help him break from Yorio even just for a moment." Airavata assured me putting a firm hand on my shoulder with a warm smile. "I was hoping I could do the same for Yorio..." I paused thinking of the corruption that consumed him. "My lady he was too far gone for you to have done anything." Airavata assured me. "Sides I would have bitten his head off even if he survived!" Ariyday added.

"So what did you do with Yorio?" I asked looking down as they both frowned at each other.

"We were going to give him a proper burial, but when went to go get the body it had turned completely to dust." Airavata said cupping his chin in deep thought. "I couldn't even get the chance to collect samples before the wind blew them away. Ugh why couldn't I have been a wind mage!" He groaned to himself throwing his arms out. "Brother if you were a wind mage you wouldn't be able to put out my stupid flames." Ariyday laughed making him giggle. "True."

Smiling I was happy that they were both safe. "I will leave you two to heal." I said waving to them both. "Maybe we could use some magic silk to weave into fabric." Airavata purposed.

"But it would ignite if I set my body on fire."

"Then maybe you shouldn't, your body isn't exactly fire resistant anymore."

"Oh what about spider silk!"

"Are you kidding do you know how expensive that is, we couldn't ask the princess for that!"

I giggled to myself as I listened them bicker for a little while before finally leaving. As I walked I looked around taking a deep breath trying to collect my thoughts. Masrur had been avoiding me since the other day making things kind of awkward between us. After that day things had changed, I don't think he has forgiven himself for being so easily possessed by Yorio and nearly killing me. But everything worked out right?

Walking through the hallways of my palace I soon found the red head looking out over top of a balcony. The wind lightly brushing his hair across his face. It was memorizing watching his face illuminated by the sun."Masrur!" I called fastening my pace, but he turned away quickly trying to avoid me. But I was fed up with this cat and mouse. Grabbing his hand I yanked him as hard as I could causing the floor the crack against the pressure of him trying to keep his ground. "Stop avoiding me." I growled.

"No."

"Yes."

"Why."

"Not to be too cliche, but because I love you." I smiled but he still looked pained. He turned quickly grabbing my shoulders tightly. "I let my guard down and lost myself, and in doing so almost lost you."

"But Masrur, you didn't lose me and if you remember I am the one who was controlled first!" I retorted, but I could tell it didn't. Smiling to myself I grabbed his wrists holding them in fron of me. "You know you won the tournament right." He rose an eyebrow unsure at what I was getting at. "Yes, well kind of it wasn't really announced." He mumbled glancing to the side. I giggled leaning up whispering in his ear. "That means we can do whatever we want without question." I giggled in his ear before suddenly being picked up and swung around. "Masrur!" I sang as he brought me close, pressing my forehead to his. "I love you." He whispered kissing me gently.

"She really does love him." The king sighed out rotating the a goblet in his hand. "I wish I could have just put my pride aside and let her have her way."

"Your majesty the hardship she endured will only strengthen the bond between them. They both over came the dark temptation of dark magio." Airavata said walking up beside him with a bottle of alcohol. "She is so kind, I fear that one day her kindness will be her downfall."

"Sire, that is why she sought a strong companion so that they would help protect her against things she can't protect herself from. Even if that thing is herself, sometimes kindness is also a great strength." He said pouring the king more wine glancing up at him with a small smirk. "But you too are far too kind."

"Airavata what happened to the bandages on your-Ack!" Holding his throat the he dropped his goblet reaching up. "What have you done to me?!" He gasped out as a layer dissipated from the being to reveal Yorio.

"Ah, I have laced your wine with some of my magio just as I did to your daughter and your future son in law. You see you cut to shallow and that allowed me to take the opportunity to fain death." He explained with a wicked grin as he leaned down to the king's side. "Now while you I have you, will you kindly be my puppet for the time being." He chuckled darkly.

I danced around the field feeling the wind lift my hair gently before turning to Masrur. "Its so beautiful, it reminds me of something~" I sang falling into the long grass with a sigh. "And what would that be?" He asked crouching down to where I laid. "I know this may sound weird, but I heard you in the darkness." I muttered recalling the pitch black sky and the spider. "Darkness?"

"Yeah, when I was under control I could feel the darkness in my heart consume me. But then I heard your voice and it helped me awake from it." I explained wrapping my arms around his neck, giving him a peck on the lips. He leaned in closer deepening the kiss, pressing his clothed chest against mine. "Lets forget it ever happened live peacefully." I smiled kissing him on his nose before getting an idea. "Come with me." Getting up I pulled his arm over to some taller grass behind a rock. Kissing him passionately I attempted to give him a hint. "Out here?" He asked seductively biting my bottom lip.

"Yeah, just got to keep it down and listen for anyone."

"I can do that, but can you?" He teased running his hand over my robes, slowly sliding them off. "Then what are we waiting for?" I giggled pulling off his clothes.
