All Before It Ends G.D

Chapter 1

~ Morgen P.O.V ~

Today is the beginning of my life. I'm graduating high school, sitting by my side is Grayson. My best friend, I think about when I first met him. We were 5 (he's only 3 days older than me) I was at the playground that was across the road from my house, and I was getting picked on and beating up by these boys. And Grayson came and try to save me. The boys beat him up instead. I walked him to my house and helped him clean up himself. Ever since then his been my best friend.

"Morge, snap out of it, your next" Grayson said, waving his hand in front of my face.

"Morgen Dodge, please come up and get your diploma!" My principal said.

I walk up to the stage and he hands me my diploma, the crowd goes wild. It feels great to be graduated. I'm even more excited to going to NAU for college, especially since I'm going with Grayson. This should be the best four years of college ever.

We walk out to our family after the graduation. And there next to my dad, is my amazing boyfriend Jake. I've been dating Jake since the 8th grade, we were high school sweethearts, prom king and queen, and all around the cutest couple in school. (as everyone everyone told us) I'm so sad that he's going to GCU for college.

"Morgen you look beautiful" my dad said

"My baby is going up" my mom says well crying.

"Babe, your perfect. I'm helping you move into the apartment tomorrow right?" Jake says kissing my hand.

"Yeah, Grayson is moving his stuff in too. So he can help you move the furniture in too." I said, well walking to the car hand in hand with Jake. He gave me an annoyed look when I said that, I know he didn't like Grayson. I never understood why, I mean Grayson and I are just friends. I mean I love Jake with all my heart, and nothing can change that. Jake is my one and only.

I get home and walk upstairs without saying a word to my parents, because I don't want to listen to them cry again. I walk into my room, it was so empty. All my stuff in downstairs, waiting to go to the new apartment. I look at my phone and I have 3 new messages

G: You all pack?
G: I got some food for the apartment already.
G: I'll be at the apartment around 8 am. See you there 😊

I lock my phone and put in on the charger. I go to the bathroom and wash my face and put on my pajamas. I go back to my room, and get in bed.

Tomorrow will be the start of your independent life. I told myself as I fall asleep

-The next morning-

I wake up with the sun in my eyes.

"Shit I forgot to close the window." I said to myself, as I get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I try the water on, and the the hot water fall on my body. After 30 minutes of being in the shower, I rap myself in a towel and walk to my room. I open my door, and immediately stop. To the sight of Jake shirtless, with just sweatpants on. Hes muscular body showing. Hes beautiful blue eyes looked at me, and a smirk grow on his face when he saw I was just in a towel

"Hey babe." Jake says

"How did you get in here without my parents knowing?" I said walking to my closet.

"Your window" he said pointing to the window.

Shit I knew I forgot to do something. "I need to get ready, I'll go to the bathroom." I said walking towards the door. As soon as I reach of the door, Jake grab my wrist, and pulls me around. He then grabs my face and kisses me. At first it scared me, then I realized what was happening and started kissing him back. At first it was soft, than is became rough. He lays my on the bed. He goes for my towel, he starts to take my towel off then, my phone started ringing.

"Ignore it" Jake said with frustration in his voice.

"I can't it's Grayson, we are supposed to be heading out in 5" I said standing up rapping the towel around me again. I pick up the phone.

"Hello?" I said

"Hey, so I'm here at the apartment. I have a few of your thing that you made me get last week" he said laughing.

"Okay?" I said kinda annoyed

" Which room is your and which one is mine? We never really decided who got what, so I thought you could get the first choice." He said

A huge smile spread across my face.
"Umm, I'll take the room next to the living room. You can have the master bedroom." I said still smiling.

"Okay, when are you leaving?" He said

"In like 5 minutes its going to take like 30 minutes to get there."

"Okay, see you soon. Love you Morge" He said in a mocking voice.

"Love ya too Gray." I said, hanging up my phone.

"I really don't like him, Mor, I especially don't like the fact you are going to live with him." Jake said standing up, and walking to my closet where I have some of his jackets. He puts one on.

"I don't care, you know this was the plan, but if you had just gone to NAU with us-"

"Mor, we've been over this. I'm going to GCU, to be with my brother. Go with me then!" He said grabbing my hands

"No, WE'VE been over this. It's my dream to be going to NAU. And if you want to go to GCU, then fine. Just come visit me over the weekends, I'll help pay for gas." I said taking my hands out of his.

"I don't like him! And I don't want you living with him alone! Why don't you get that?" He said yelling. Im so happy my parents just left for work like 5 minutes ago, or they would have known he was in my room.

"Jake, I know you don't like him but, this was his and mine plan since we were 5. And we work hard to get here. Why can't you just be happy for me?"

"Because, I know what goes through a guys head. I know hes going to try and make a move or something!"

"If he or I wanted something to happen, it would have happened already! And you and I wouldn't made it as far as we have! Why can't you see that?!"

"Morgen, you don't get it!"

"No Jake you don't. Leave, I can do this myself."

"Morgen..."

"Please just go. We need to calm down. I'll call you tonight." Said kissing his cheek. He walk out my room and out the front door slamming the door on his way out. I hate when this happens, Grayson is one of our main argument topic. I love Jake, but he has to understand that Grayson is my best friend and that's not going to change.
