"you're not allowed to go out, what the heck are you doing?"

"oh, stop being a mood killer, yoongi." she answered, succesfully jumping from the window to the tree. "come on!"

yoongi shook his head, "not this time."

"salty sugar! come on!"

"salty sugar?" he raised an eyebrow, "still, no. the last time we kept on leaving the hospital, you got stage three cancer."

"it was one time, suga!"

"stop calling me suga."

"if you stop being a party pooper, i might consider it."

yoongi sighed, "it's dangerous for you, girly." he said. "i'm not going with you."

"i can't believe i went with you."

"believe it or not, i actually have the ability to make people say yes to my requests." she shrugged.

"we should go back. they might be looking for you by now, and i'll probably be taking al the blame."

"no," jiraen stopped him when he started walking back. "they're not looking for me, don't worry."

"how do you know that?"

"just because." she smiled. "come on! this building's empty and open! perfect for us."

the girl then started to run towards the said building, leaving yoongi is his place, a little uneasy.

but nevertheless, he still followed her and made his way inside the building.

he guessed it was an old shop, since there were a lot of shelves and a counter. the wallpapers were ripped, and the furniture were scattered.

"are you sure it's okay to go inside here? what if the owner or someone sees us?"

"the owner already knows that we're coming."

"you met the owner?" he asked, eyebrows a little raised.

she stopped climbig the stairs and looked back at him, "i am the owner, suga."

that surpised him, "really?" he asked, not really beliving her words.

"really." she noddedat one direction, and yoongi followed where she looked at.

there was a broken sign and the words were not really visible anymore. but he managed to read what it said.

"peaches and oranges?" he asked, "what kind of person would name a..."

"cafe."

"a cafe, peaches and oranges?"

"me." she answered easily.

"why?"

"i like the sound of peaches and oranges." she started to walk back up the stairs. "and besides, orange is me."

yoongi followed, givig the sign one last glance. "no. why a cafe?"

"it was a break from work. like a side job or a hobby."

"don't you like your work?"

"i wouldn't open up a cafe if i loved it so much, wouldn't i?" she laughed lightly.

"but isn't this a waste of money? i mean, how'd you rent the place?"

"this place was owned by an old woman, who used to be close to me. but when she was dying... she gave me this space. make it better, she said. and so i did, i added more food and all that fancy stuff."

"you don't really seem like the type to own a cafe." he said honestly.

she opened a door, which led them outside, to the rooftop. the pair was greeted by the cold breeze and the night view of the city. by now, the two of them are already used to this sight. buildings, cars, streets. they can see it all from above.

"is that a good thing or a bad thing?" she asked.

"maybe both."

"i guess i'll take that as a compliment."

the both of them then stayed quiet after that, and focused on the view that can be seen from where they are. but after a minute or so, yoongi was the one who broke the ice.

"why... why'd you bring me here?"

"isn't this what we always do?"

"i know but... why now?" he asked again, "you could've done it earlier."

"oh, so you waited for me?" there was a hint of tease in her voice and yoongi didn't dare look at her direction.

"i wasn't."

"right." she answered sarcastically. "well, to answer your question, i wasn't able to do earlier because they would never leave my side. so i had to make them believe that i won't escape anymore."

"is that really just it?" the answer seemed alright, but yoongi felt like she was hiding something.

"of course! i mean, what other reason could there be?" she shrugged happily, "and besides, i'm getting better now! no need to worry much about my health!"

her next actions weren't really support her words because she suddenly coughed and breathed heavily, as if she was having a hard time. yoongi almost immediately went to her and held her for support.

"getting better? yeah, right."

she laughed it off, "it's part of the third stage, suga. usually, these things happen a lot more frequent, but now it's reducing! i guess that's a good thing."

he didn't bother answering her anymore and just stayed beside her. "why are we here again?"

"i wanted to visit my shop."

"and i'm with you because?"

"you're special."

"what?" his eyebrows were knitted together when he looked her, but instead of looking back, jiraen just looked at the view before them.

"don't make me repeat it." she said, "do you know how much i tried to think of a less cheesy statement."

he chuckled, "you're special to me, too."

"oh my goodness." she breathed out, "yeah, i think we should go back. i don't want ants surrounding us because of how cheesy we are."

yoongi laughed when she started walking away, he followed her and put an arm around her shoulders. "do you want to eat some packed fruits?"

she looked at him, "no."

"no?" he repeated, "are you kidding?"

"nope." she shook her head, "i'm not hungry." jiraen held his hand, "come on, let's go back. i almost forgot they usually check up on me from time to time, they must be starting to get suspicious."

"your hands are cold."

"it's a cold night, suga. even your hands are cold. wait, stay there." jiraen smiled and walked ahead of him, "do you want to know a secret?"

"what?" he asked, looking at her back.

"you're a little, uh, kinda handsome."

the man tried his best not to make it obvious that he was happy. he had to bite his lip to contain his joy. "do you want to know a secret, too?"

"no."

"well, too bad, because i'm gonna say it." he said stubbornly. "you're pretty."

"i know."
