a few days passed but the two haven't met again.
yoongi was feeling a lot worse than he usually does, and jiraen isn't allowed to leave her room unless she's meeting her doctor.
the only way the both of them could communicate was through their phones.
actually, jiraen isn't supposed to use her phone since she has to rest and avoid things that could distract her easily. but the girl was skilled enough to hide it.
"why are you calling me at such an early time?" he grumbled, messing his already messy bed hair and wore his slippers as he stood up.
"i just wanted to wake you up. it isn't really the healthiest thing to oversleep, you know."
"how caring," he answered sarcastically, "this is like the third day of you "not wanting me to oversleep", i don't think that's the thing anymore."
"it is."
"stop being scared of the doctor, girly. you're visiting that person because you're getting better."
"who says i'm scared of doctors."
the was a short pause before the male answered, "i can feel it. i can sense it."
she laughed. "stop being dramatic. take your medicine and drink lots of water, yeah? i'm going in."
"whatever, mom."
"i'm like the prettiㅡ" she suddenly paused.
"were you about to brag about your looks but then you remember that being pretty is another thing for us?" he asked, his voice with obviously teasing.
"hush, child. you're just a kid; you don't know know anything. i'm hanging up, and button your shirt. the first three are opened." and with that, the call ended.
"no, it's notㅡ" yoongi looked at his hospital attire, and she was right, the first three buttons were not closed. he quickly buttoned it up and looked around, searching for signs of the girl.
the windows were blocked by the curtains, his bathroom door was closed, and there was no cctv camera inside. instead of being weirded out, he chuckled.

it was on a tuesday when yoongi decided to stop this not so long distance relationship and visit the girl. he was already wearing his hoodie, when his phone vibrated.
he looked at the device and smiled once he saw who the caller was and immediately swiped answer; he then took a deep breathe, "hey."
"do you want to meet?"
"actually, i was going to your room toㅡ"
"i'm already on my way to the rooftop. just meet me there?"
"yeah, i think the rooftop's a better idea." he answered, nodding his head. "see you."
he hung up and tried his best to hid his smile, not wanting to look like a lovesick person. he grabbed a blanket and a thick pair of socks before making his way out of his room.
to say yoongi was happy is an understatement. he isn't the most experienced when it comes to dating, but that didn't mean he knew nothing at all.
he kept on looking at the floor he was in, waiting for the glorious ding! to be heard.
yoongi looked at the mirror and after a few seconds of thinking what to do, what to say, and what to look like, he decided to do nothing with his hair and just act natural.
ding!
and as natural as yoongi expected himself to do, he almost ran out of the elevator. almost.
he stopped and composed himself, before walking slowly towards the girl who was sitting on the chair, he smiled before tapping jiraen's right shoulder.
"i'm here." when she turned around and gave him a confused look, yoongi almost pissed himself. "oh, crap. i'm sorry, i thought you were the person i was looking for. your hair looked alike andㅡah, damn. sorry for creeping you out."
she smiled, but her eyes were showing how she was looking at him like she was judging. she stood up and walked away quickly; a good thing for him yoongi and the girl.
just then, a faint sound of laughter can be heard from behind him. yoongi turned around and saw jiraen, covering her mouth with her palm as she tried to contain her laughter.
he made his way towards her, taking big steps to the girl's direction. "don't laugh at me." he muttered when he arrived in front of jiraen.
it was as if she didn't hear him and continued to giggle, "wow, you mistook your girlfriend for another girl."
"not funny."
"yeah, for you. but it was amazing for me! you should've seen the look on your face, yoongi!"
"i hate you."
"no, you don't."
"yeah, you're right."
