"are you not going to go?" jiraen asks suddenly while the both of them were silently watching the television.
"do you really hate me that much?" he laughed. "i'll stay for a few minutes then, i'll go. happy?"
"it's not the i don't like you..." she trailed off, "never mind. just keep me distracted."
"like?"
"talk to me."
"we've been doing that since i came here. this is the second time you said that to me, jiraen." he said. "why? do you not want to sleep?"
"yeah, not yet."
"well, you could sleep. and i'll go once these girls start to throw house furniture at each other." he pointed at the screen where a reality television show was playing.
"i don't want to sleep yet." she answered stubbornly. "hey, suga?"
"what?"
"i kind of really like you."
the boy chuckled. "just watch, girly. don't you just love reality show girl dramas?"
"but really, though. i'm serious." she continued, "i like you. a whole lot."
yoongi glanced at her, before looking back at the screen. the two of them didn't say another word for a few seconds before he shifted so his sitting position would be faced to her.
"what's with you today?" he asked, confused. but a smile was evident on his face.
instead of answering, jiraen just gave the boy a sheepish smile.
"you're kind of creeping me out. what if you're not actually the girly that i know and you're like her twin sister or something. and then you fall in love with me, the very handsome and charming guy!"
she laughed and rolled her eyes, "oh, please! even if i had a twin sister, i bet she would be disgusted with just the sight of your hair."
"says the girl who just confessed her feelings for me."
"shut up."
"don't worry, i like you too."
jiraen kept a straight face despite her wanting to smile, "i know."
"wow, i thought you'd at least act surprised."
"i'm not that kind of girl."
"if you're actually a girl..."
"hey! you just said you like me!"
"i do. but doesn't mean i would stop teasing you," he shrugged. "i like you way before you started to like me, but did i stop pissing you off? no."
"psh, i liked you way before, idiot."
"don't try to win on this. i liked you first. i get the upper hand in this relationship."
"who said anything about relationships?"
"i did."
"did i say i wanted to be your girlfriend?"
"you have no choice anyway." yoongi answered, "i liked you first."
"i'm getting the upper hand. i'm the girl!"
"don't start being sexist. i liked you first."
"that doesn't make a difference. i like you more now."
"you're kind of making my heart flutter." he said honestly. "can you stop?"
jiraen laughed after those words left his mouth, "you lose."
